Retrovanian
Hi, I have the Steam Edition of FSX and whenever I delete a saved flight that I have created it keeps coming back. Any ideas. Kind regards James.
mrzippy
Just to be sure I have this straight.....delete a "saved" flight or a "saved flight plan"? Saved Flight...to delete just highlight and hit the delete button. Saved Flight Plan...Highlight the one you want, right-click and choose delete. Still thinking about a new flightsim only computer! Retrovanian
Hi, It is just the Flight I am deleting but Steam seemed to be saving them online. Kind regards James.
sparky347
With Steam you cannot just delete the saved flight from your FSX Show Saved Flight list. You also have to go to your Documents/Flight Simulator X files and delete 4 files from there. Sometimes there are 5 files. But the 4 are FLT, FSSAVE, SPB, WX. If you have a lot of saves make sure you are deleting the right corresponding files. Say in your FSX saved mission you have named the save ... later, the files in your documents would be later.FLT later.FSSAVE later.SPB later.WX. If there is the 5th file I think it is a profile file. It isn't created every time . Don't ask me why. So to re-cap, delete the Saved mission in you FSX mission and then the 4 or 5 files in your documents
