learning to fly again.

I decided to try my hand at flying again, after a ten year absence.

Got on pretty well, learning the simulation ropes.

So, I decided to download a DC10 and install it.

Everything went well, until it was time to pull back on the yoke.

I went straight into a house, at the end of the runway.

I'm running FS2004 This DC10 is supposed to be compatible.

Is there something I am missing?

I did alter the payload. Double checked everything.

Any ideas as to what is wrong?

Many Thanks

Welcome back! Did we (ain't no mouse in my pocket) forget to turn off the auto throttle when you came in for your landing?? Happens to the best of us! I speak from personal, embarrassing experience. Did you, in fact, land at the wrong end of the runway? Oops!

Still thinking about a new flightsim only computer!  ✈️

Thanks for the reply mate, I haven't explained myself. I am talking about take off. This DC10, no matter what I do, will not lift off the ground. Could it be a compatibility issue?

First, can you give the download file name of the DC-10? The next thing I can think of is to use elevator pitch trim to help get this beastie off the runway.

Right, you pair, I do not want to hear, any snigger's or gwarfs.

The Joystick, was not assigned.

It was doing everything, but rotate.

And, I did not allow for the gross weight. Well over the max.

Fuel checked. Payload unchecked.

Thank you, for the replies and the helpful hints.
