jprism
Currently running the AMD Radeon R7 370 Series 2GB GPU and after loading ORBX Global Base Pack, Global Vector and OpenLC North America I am now getting an "Out of Memory" error after flying for 10-20 minutes. It has to be the video card as my equipment is listed below: System: i5-7600K Kaby Lake 4.6mhz Gigabyte Z270X Gaming K5 16GB DDR4 (2x8) Ram 3800 AMD Radeon R7 370 Series 2GB 120GB SSD & 250GB SSD Dell S2415H(HDMI) 24" Samsung SyncMaster 2243 22" Looking to buy a new GPU with 8GB ram for less than $250.00. All help appreciated.
mrzippy
May not be a GPU issue. Could be a VAS issue. You may want to Google search OOM or out of memory and see what people have said about it. Still thinking about a new flightsim only computer!
jorgen.s.andersen
An OOM issue is never a graphics card issue. As Mr. Zippy said, you're running out of VAS (Virtual Address Space - when FSX runs out of that, it posts the OOM message), and it would be interesting to see your FSX.CFG file, which might give us some clues as to what's going on. Apart from that, if that graphics card with 8 GB on it is a nVidia card, then it sounds like a good deal. But don't expect that card to solve an OOM issue.
