aharon
Shalom and greetings all my pals, After flying on FSX for almost 10 years, I finally spotted Niagara Falls during flight from KBOS General Edward Lawrence Logan International Airport located in the East Boston neighborhood of Boston, Massachusetts to CYYZ Toronto Pearson International Airport located 14.0 miles northwest of Downtown Toronto Passing some suburb of Boston http://i770.photobucket.com/albums/xx348/CVA0343/MetroAir/test_zpshik1fphk.jpg Cruising at FL300 midway between two airports http://i770.photobucket.com/albums/xx348/CVA0343/MetroAir/test2_zpsocvq37ty.jpg Finally saw Niagara Falls!!!!!!!!!!! http://i770.photobucket.com/albums/xx348/CVA0343/MetroAir/test3_zpszpigdz6d.jpg Thank you for viewing!! Stay tuned for next exciting flight. Regards, Aharon

Rupert
Hey Aharon, Looks like you've got your new laptop going! Nice screenies! I may try a few from about 2,000asl. Michael Being an old chopper guy I usually fly low and slow.
aharon
Thanks, Linersimpilot and Rupert for your kind words. Rupert, I am still working on finding correct settings in my new laptop with too many settings!!! Look at the last screenshot. Would you be happy with crisp sharpness of ground texture in front of the plane's nose and off the left wing? The ground is crisp sharp below the plane. In five year old laptop, everything would be crisp sharp on ground. Regards, Aharon
KCD
You need to be low and slow to spot that stuff, Aharon, that heavy iron is way to high to get a good view!
aharon
KCD, LOL agreed!! But I was at 10,000 ft. Is it low enough? Regards, Aharon
KCD
No, my friend, you gotta come at it from the other direction and from under the bridge! See Rupert's post.
aharon
LOL, KCD Yeah I noticed Rupert's post :) The only way I can get closer to the Falls via regular airline jet plane is to take off from Niagara Falls Airport climbing past the Falls :) hheheheheheh Regards, Aharon
