DominicS
ENSG Sogndal Airport v1.0 By TDG Sogndal Airport, Haukåsen is a regional airport serving Sogndal, Norway. It is situated at Haukåsen, 10 kilometers from Kaupanger and 20 kilometers from Sogndalsfjøra. The airport opened on 1st July 1971 along with three other regional airports in Sogn og Fjordane and Sunnmøre. These were at first connected to Bergen and Ålesund using the de Havilland Canada DHC-6 Twin Otter. From the 1980s the airport was upgraded and de Havilland Canada Dash 7 started being used, allowing all-year services to Oslo. Whilst the author doesn't claim that this X-Plane scenery is a 100% accurate depiction of the actual airport, it is however, very close. Thanks to Fred Schutzman, David Marshall, Richard Elliott, Stuart McGregor and others for the great looking objects and buildings. If you enjoy the author's work, please consider donating (link included in the download). Donations are 100% optional, but greatly appreciated and encourage the author to create additional sceneries.
