evm
How are you starting it? FSX:SE has to be started with/through the Steam client that you had to download and install first. Start the Steam app, go to "Library/Games", select "Microsoft Flight Simulator: Steam Edition" and start it. You cannot start FSX:SE by doubleclicking on "fsx.exe". longbreak754
Hi Braiden, I suspect that the error was a one off as when you first download and install any steam product you have to run via the steam client so that it is activated. FTR you don't need to be online to run any steam product after it has been activated and you should be able to run it using a desktop icon without going through the process stated by evm each time you want to run the sim. Once activated, if you click on the desktop icon when connected to the internet the steam client should automatically open in the background and the sim will load. If done with no internet connection you should receive a popup offering the choice to go online or start in offline mode. Note that steam products, by default are set to start in online mode and to automatically download any available updates before launching the product so you may want to change how this process occurs - see this thread for a couple of tips that you may find useful https://www.flightsim.com/vbfs/showthread.php?301777-Qiuck-Question Regards Brian
