GNS 530W XP GPS and Map

I would like to replace the default GPS with a more comprehensive unit.

I have looked at:

- GNS 530W XP by Reality

Both look great (but expensive)

Has anybody used these, or have a better suggestion

I have used the Garmin GNS530 and the GNS430 available in the C-47 V.2 cockpit. Have you tried this aircraft and tested out these 2 systems before you splurge money on something that might not be what you want?
