$30.00 but I think it's worth it, been using Steve's freeware DX10 shader fixer (AKA Scenery Fixer) for years so guess it was time to pay up :)

Have you noticed any configuration changes you made that really make a difference?

I just use the defaults. never really looked at tweaking it. Just make sure you read how to set up your video fo aa etc. And yes it is worth it.

Even with Steve's DX10 Fixer, some of my old FSX addon planes didn't have cockpit shadows. So I added "ForceVCShadowMap=1" to the DISPLAY section in the fsx.CFG. Now all of the planes have shadows. I don't remember the details, but Google is your friend. Remember to first save a copy of the unmodified CFG before making any modifications to it!

The only DX9 model I have is the old Captain Sim Space Shuttle. Anytime I used it before I had to switch off DX10 mode (Always showed up white). Was surprised first time loading up after DX10 Fixer installed and the textures work now.

OK, two votes for ForceVCShadowMap=1... DONE!

I already had the well known FSX.cfg tweaks all ready but I see they're easier to change in the Fixers control panel.

Curious if anybody plays a round with the Affinity Mask at all and have come to the conclusion of using Hyper threading or not for FSX. P3D I think by default uses all cores (except keeps core/thread 0 free) and also uses Hyper threading.
