Hi all!

I've recently upgraded my hardware on my sim to now include head tracking, a Saitek switch panel and a go flight GF-46. The difference in immersion is like night and day! Anyway onwards to our scenic flight today... Enjoy the views!

OK, Steve, that was quite a ride! Usually I thoroughly enjoy being a passenger on your jaunts, but normally we're in a nice, big, comfortable twin of some sort. I found the 172 slightly restrictive with a full load of sight seeing friends aboard. Also, the engine, as you aimed us straight at that head wall, seemed a little weak. Overall, however, the experience was enjoyable, and as usual, I was glad to have been included!

Awesome!

Thanks very much :D

Very nice screen shots, Steve. I especially like the one where you're approaching the grass strip.

Thanks for your comments, the wind was really rough at that point and also I'm side slipping because my approach seemed a tad high :D

Great shots Steve and beautiful scenery, thanks for posting these.

My pleasure buddy, thanks for coming along!

Gorgeous set of shots Steve!! :)

Cheers Adam! :)

hahaha well I do remember telling you I'm used to slightly larger aircraft these days and it's been a while since I've flown a little Cessna :D It did seem a little snug back there, we only just made the takeoff from walney island! :D

Whoa, I'm a big Lake-District fan Steve (also virtual now), shots are stunning!:cool:

Great stuff pleased you like the virtual version too my friend, sorry for the rough ride :D

A fine series of pics. Steve. The scenery really pops. Glad you are enjoying your new equipment. :D

Cheers buddy I really appreciate it, not bad for over 10 year old scenery now!

beauties, steve, very pleasant to look at! I remember when I was working on my private and had only flown a 150 as yet. when I taxied past a 182 with its bigger, fatter nose and cowl flaps, I always thought it looked so impressive. not that many days later, it was the first plane w a constant speed propeller I flew. thought I was hot stuff then, lol, and would be impressed by the twins as I taxied past. that wouldn't be too many days after the complex singles - or did I do the instrument next? hell, I don't remember anymore. this was early seventies. anyway I was employed as a cfi less than a year after starting the whole processs.

Hi Phil wow that must of been quite something! I am hoping to begin my PPL as soon as I graduate from Cambridge (I'm training to be a music therapist at the moment).. I'm very thankful for A2A and Real Air for the work they do for us in the GA sector, their aircraft are just astonishing and are a joy to fly and master for years and years to come.

Thanks for the info Steve!

No worries! :D

Is it just me or to the screenies look a little "soft"??

I enjoyed them anyways, good scenery mate.

Hey Alex, yes you may be right, some of these are with FXAA enabled, I've disabled it and the scenery is much sharper.

Very nicely done!

Darryl

Thanks Darryl I really appreciate it!
