john373
I had a lot of trouble loading on to Windows 10. Now it seems to work OK with a couple of problems! - the background sound is ok but I can only use the radio if I use headphones. 2 - It wont accept my request in settings to increase traffic density! Anyone have any ideas? Many thanks for your help John373
mrzippy
Try this: In Windows: Start - control panel - hardware and devices - sound - communications tab select: "Do Nothing" What happens if you move the traffic slider to the right? Still thinking about a new flightsim only computer!
Leadfoot42
Installed FSX on W10 surface book. Runs ok after install but no shortcut or listing under programs . Does appear under uninstall programs in control panel. I can't even find the FSX file anywhere on disk using file explorer. WTF! Anyone else have this problem? Fix? Art Burke
I've been reluctant to switch to Win10 after hearing about so many people having problems with their FSX. Does the Windows+F key still work in Win10? I would use that to search for FSX.EXE - sounds like maybe you somehow ended up with a non-standard installation. Art - N4PJ Leesburg, FL I'm hoping that if Win10 is that problematic, maybe I can get by with FSX Steam when the time arrives (i.e., when support runs out for FSX - or did it already?) jorgen.s.andersen
I'm running the boxed FSX Acceleration under Win 10. No issues. Make sure Windows is set to show file extensions and hidden files. Jorgen
