Guest pacificapilot
I would like to set a custom song for the intro/startup screen, and I have read that I need to use a .wav file. So I did. And still no success. And yes, I have set the settings in my sim to play music, and have selected my song. Nothing. Any help guys?

I hope into the Sound/UIMusic folder and then you selected it in you FSX/Sound settings. Did you test your music .wav file before inserting it into the Sim? Next check your FSX.cfg. [sOUND] AmbientUIMusicVolume=-6.000000 SOUND=1 SOUND_QUALITY=2 SOUND_LOD=0 UISound=1 AmbientUI=1 SOUND_FADER1=0.400000 SOUND_FADER2=0.610000 SOUND_FADER3=0.620000 SOUND_FADER4=1.000000 AmbientUIMusic=top gun anthem(make sure your song appears here) PrimaryDevice={DEF00000-9C6D-47ED-AAF1-4DDA8F2B5C03} VoiceDevice={DEF00002-9C6D-47ED-AAF1-4DDA8F2B5C03} Still thinking about a new flightsim only computer! CptCaveman
Also make sure its actually done properly. WAV files can be finicky when not coded properly. I had several issues using vlc player for recoding to WAV giving me blank audio tracks. [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
