Good day, I was desperate to get my new Velocity One system recognized correctly within MSFS2020 and in the process did something that screwed up my VR interaction within the sim. I'm sure one of you wizards can help me with what happened. The sim starts correctly in Steam, MSFS boots properly and I can fly the sim on my desktop with no issue. When I activate VR (this was working since day one), all I see is blackness but I can see the POIs in, let's say, in the Disco Flight arena. This is really weird but I'm sure in removal of my Steam cache folder, I did something stupid that caused this issue. I followed some online instructions to do this to remove the improper label of my Velocity Flight One system. I went into the HKey RegEdit to do this. There was a duplicate listing of my yoke system, so I deleted the duplicate and the sim rectified itself. I've been working on getting this all setup with Mark's videos (SimHanger). I turned on VR yesterday after hours of work and I was shocked to see all black. I guess I need to reinstall the Windows Mixed Reality Portal? Would that fix this? Maybe a Steam reload? Can that be done? I also notice on my boot up screen in MSFS that there are instructions for a god damn XBOX controller setup. WTF is that? I want NOTHING to do with XBOX. Is there a setting for this in the sim to remove all that?
Thanks
GG
