  1. Maybe this has been raised already somewhere, but I can't find it now. Is it only my 747's that constantly ascend and descend (1000 ft up 1000 ft down) around the entered altitude on the autopilot? If not, can anybody please tell me whether there's a way to fix this? I can't use the 747 as well as the 787. It is practically impossible to taxi the 787, it goes its own way. Here too, if someone knows a workaround, I'd be most grateful...

  3. Install the dev MOD? Can you please tell me where to find it and how to install it? Thanks in advance.
  4. The left screen and autopilot screen on the a320 keep on blacking out. Anybody else with the same problem? And has anybody hit upon the solution of this problem yet?
  5. After installing today's patch I've lost the A320 airliner plus all of its liveries. Can anyone please tell me how to get them back? Any help much appreciated.
  6. Great update. Now I've lost the A320 neo jetliner completely. I now have only 2 airliners to choose from. How can I solve this problem? Surely I won't have to install the entire game once more from the beginning? How can they release an update like this? It's not an update for me, things for me are now worse than they were before installing the update.
  7. I felt much the same in the beginning. I had bought the dvd version but the last part of the program still had to be downloaded from the Microsoft server. Which during the first week proved impossible. It would start downloading files, get to roundabout 75% downloaded of a file and then suddenly the download would stop. File gone, and it would start downloading the same file right from the beginning again. Over and over and over again. Days and nights of absolute battle, stress and disappointment. For me it was simply impossible to install the game during the first week. Then someone at Microsoft must have slowly woken up and realize that there was a problem. Which, in all fairness, did get rectified. Ten days later I finally succeeded in installing the game. The end of my problems? Not at all. Although the game was finally installed, I needed to get my new Thrustmaster Hotas X working. During the first days just about every take off and landing ended in a crash. Touch the joystick and the airplane would flip on its back and crash immediately. Even the 747 behaved like a Spitfire. I very nearly gave the whole thing up once more. But then I started experimenting with different sensitivity settings of the joystick and it made all the difference. The default sensitivity settings were far too high and the null zone settings far too small. Now, (how many weeks later?) planes are finally beginning to behave the way they did in FSX. I have all the settings maxed out on 'realistic' and now my landings of the A320 have improved and becoming really enjoyable. I'm actually beginning to have fun. The graphics are mind-blowing, the IFR navigation works like a charm and the sheer beauty of the whole thing far surpasses that of FSX. So my advice would be: hang in there, don't give up. I very nearly gave up a couple of times as well but now I'm finally very glad that I didn't.
  8. I can't find it, I'm probably missing something fairly obvious, but how does one switch to passenger view. I suppose it is in the cycle cockpit view and outside view (End)...but which key is it? Thanks in advance.
  9. I can't find it, but can anyone please tell me whether there is a 'map' utility (as there was in FSX) from which one could quickly get ILS, VOR and NDB frequencies? Or even an airport map, showing the location and frequencies of these navigational aids?
  10. And during my first flight from FAOR to FAGG, the program crashed just prior to landing.
  11. I've just dowloaded the update from Microsoft Store and started off on my first flight with the A320. Curious to see what the differences will be. And to hear of other peoples' experiences.
  12. I have 2 questions: 1. how does one save a flight in FS2020? 2. How do you access the opening screen flight planner and weather input from within the sim? Say you've arrived at your destination and you want to continue on with the same plane to a new destination, how can you access the opening page? I can't find the answer, the only way so far for me was to exit the sim and start it up again.
  13. I live in The Netherlands and I have an internet connection of 1000 Mbps. After numerous installation attempts which froze and had to be abandoned, I finally managed to get to the 10th dvd and complete the first part of the installation on Friday evening. Chapter two: After non-stop downloading since Friday evening, I now still have to download 14,16 Gb. This clearly cannot be ascribed to my internet connection, the problem lies with the Microsoft server. Why couldn't Microsoft just have added one extra dvd to the package and spare us all this aggravation and stress? What is the point of making things this difficult for us? All the previous versions of Microsoft Flight Simulator (going right back to 1990 when I first installed Flightsim 4, on a computer with a harddrive of 40 Mb) installed without a single hitch. But this time around someone somewhere must have said: 'Let's make it really difficult, let's pester them, see how angry we can get them.' If Microsoft doesn't fix this problem fast (as well as the myriad of other problems I keep on reading about on the internet) this game will sink. Let's say I succeed in downloading the entire game by December of 2021 and my computer at some point subsequently develops some kind of problem, necessatating a new install, will I have to deal with this whole mess once more? Unthinkable. And as I write this, a new problem has just popped up: I'm busy downloading 'asobo-aircraft-sr22-0.1.32.fspackage' The download got to 82% and then suddenly dropped back to 0%, starting right from the beginning of the file again. If this carries on for much longer all I can do is return the game and bid Microsoft Flight Simulator farewell. After looking forward to the release of FS2020 for months, the disappointment of getting to know the real thing couldn't be greater.
