  1. Hello Roger. I'll see if I can find my photos (from the air) of Hinckley Airfield; 0C2 in Hinckley, Illinois. It's a small grass strip field with a few hangers for GA, as well as the local soaring club. Real "grass roots" feel on the field and within the patrons. I've spent many a day there flying with friends (the manager/proprietor is a retired AAL Check Airman), many of them current or retired Airline captains, as well as the many cookouts. My closest friend built his Sonex 2-seater there, and has now just passed his twin-engine rating - on his way to the big leagues! I'll see if I can locate pics and spark any interest. Thanks very much, Neil
  2. Thank you very much! Neil
  3. As do all of your EVO creations, these lights look mighty nice! Thanks Sascha, appreciate your continued effort with all things EVO :) Neil
  4. I actually noticed some color improvements on a test flight just a moment ago. That in itself makes this effort all the more satisfying. So far, I'll consider it a win! :) Neil
  5. Thanks so much for posting your version! :) I'll compare to mine, and save yours so I can use it as an alternate if there are enough differences. I appreciate your kindness! Best, Neil
  6. LOL, funny. I'd love to see the settings if you can, for comparison sake, but understand if you can't get them. Neil
  7. Anything helps, as I mentioned I have not completely familiarized myself with what the setting do. I do have bloom as 1, an HDR as 0, so maybe I'll start by knocking the bloom back to 0 and check the look. Take one step at a time afterward. Thanks for your reply! :) Neil
  8. Hi JSMR, very nice pics. My "greens" seem to look more pale in comparison to yours. I may need to figure out what to change in the sweetfx settings to get them to look more natural, as in your pics. I still haven't mastered those settings. Neil
  9. Sascha, I tried the new textures yesterday, and they look great. Using ASE for my weather, and your textures - yesterday was one of the most realistic looking flights I've ever flown in FS9. :) Thanks again for your hard work and contributions to the community. I can't wait to see what new .cfg "tweaks" you have up your sleeve! Neil
  10. Thank you very much, Sascha! :) Looking forward to seeing the world in a different way. Very much appreciated. Neil
  11. Very timely post, Hans - thank you for bringing this up. I too have been mushing my way through this issue for about a year, but never took it too seriously because it ultimately didn't effect the sim, once the second start opened it up. This fixed it for me as well - thanks Tim! My install is in my own folder, on an updated WIN7 OS. Here's to one less series of mouse clicks to get the beast up and running! :) Neil
  12. Reasonably priced, and great looking plane - inside and out. I may indulge myself! Thanks for the link, tiger. :) Neil
  13. Good evening, If there are members out there using this plane in FS9 (or have used it in the past), do you know if Simon Smeiman is still active in the community? I love his plane, and would enjoy using it to the fullest, but it's a demo, and needs a "donation" of $8 bucks to remove the pink image in the planes cockpit views - 2D & 3D. So many years have passed I would bet I won't have any luck making contact with him, though I've tried, so figured I'd ask here. He really did a very nice job on the plane. Thanks very much, Neil
