I was wondering if there’s a way to replicate the fsx view that puts you next to the landing gear in fs9 and gives you the ability to camera pann change camera altitude and move left and right, I think it can be done however I haven’t the knowledge on how to. Thanks again

I was wondering if anyone knew, if there is a way to eliminate errors in fs9, fs9 sometimes crashes when flying, I was wondering if there is a way to reconfigure the sim to eliminate the chance of fs9 crashing. Fs9 sometimes crashes over particulars areas, like south of KPSP, departing south of LAX and a big one is on APP to Athens and some of the Greek islands. However it also crashes randomly I was wondering if anyone here had an issue with this and was able to reconfigure the sim to eliminate as many errors that cause it to crash. I’ve re-installed the sim re installed aircraft and scenery in win 10, I think this is from the programming in fs9, had this happen in 3pcs over 15 years. Thanks

Thanks a million Tom, I’ll give it a try, I have 5 years of scenery that would take a while to re build in fsx, I was also wondering if there was a way to modify scenery to be used with different terrain mesh, I created a few scenery objects that a off the airport environment and would have a uneven object height: like a bridge or a line of houses would be if you were to switch to a advance terrain mesh other than the default fs9 mesh. Heard many people are having an issue with this They used to buy these from addon websites however the. Developer would never reply to they’re emails or offer support, which is why they were removed and aren’t available for purchase. The only alternative is ezdok however it isn’t available for fs9.

Thanks hornet aircraft, I agree that’s a challenge, I used to use active camera when it was available for purchase, however I never had the issue when there’s a altitude change, might be a Windows 10 issue. Thanks in any event

Good afternoon to the group, I was wondering if anyone here had an issue with active camera, the issue here is when you raise the external camera the (move up) feature the ground around the airplane is piked up and follows the camera view it looks like the airplanes underground? Also I was wondering if there was a way to lock the camera to follow the airplane in flight. Thanks

Good afternoon to the group, I was wondering if anyone had an issue with auto throttles, in fs9 I’m on win10 and use the overland a320 panel and used to have auto throttles however the I tried a verity of airplanes with the same panel however no auto throttles. Thanks again and I know airplanes like the crj200 and older aren’t available with A/T

Thanks it’s a really Awsome video card however I would think you’d have at least 16x of AA, I tried to keep the AA at the highest with less texture filtering, without the NVDIA inspector I managed to fine tune the settings and have the aliasing minimized, however there’s still minimal jagged edges when next to a runway centerline or when looking at a wing. I was wondering if after using the NVDIA inspector on win 10 if this would eliminate Aliasing entirely in the sim.

Thanks I tried it on a old computer however I was wondering if the nvdia inspector eliminates all the aliasing ( jagged edges) or after using the inspector are there still a mild amount of aliasing evident?

Thanks tried that however I was unable to have the 16x anti aliasing, I’ve seen other people with a similar video card have 24x AA

Good afternoon, The graphics card Nvdia 2060 super, went through a update and in the fs9 graphics card settings, the graphics card can only provide 8x anti aliasing, however prior to that it was able to provide 16x of anti aliasing in fs9 Thanks.

Does anyone here know how to disable notifications on windows 10 when flying fs9 the notifications minimize the sim often and its a little disruptive. Thanks to anyone that knows

Thanks also the video you mentioned worked terrific for tweaking the nvdia settings, I’ve been looking for almost a year now still couldn’t find a way to contact them.

Yea I bought it nearly 10 years ago and installed it on a new computer however there was no reply to the activation email
