  1. how do you do this? I mean I’ve been doing it and sometimes it works and other times ATC vectors me to high or something else. do you just put in the route only and then add in the airport/SID/STAR via of your G3000 or FMC depending on the aircraft. I fly Hondajet and Longitude. or something else.
  2. That would feature: Line bidding Not multiple airlines, just one Msfs 2020 Flying PMDG 737
  3. A VA is not what you want now. Most VAs are automated to the point of very little human interaction. What plane are you flying now? Take the C172 and learn to fly a pattern - really well. Learn to set it down at a specific place on the runway. In real life you learned to crawl, stand up and walk, then run. Same thing in flightsim. What kind of VA flying are you wanting to do? Small planes or tubeliners. I recommend Walker Air Transport. You can fly small planes, bizjets and move up into the A320 or B737 and others. https://walkerair.us/ Under their express division they allow you to fly the C172. For now keep practicing, fly lots of patterns both left & right, watch lots of YT vids, etc.
  4. I used to be a member as well. It was very tight and cleanly run website, if I remember...
  5. I can get the ap to auto switch to nav1 but no g/s Any ideas of what I’m doing wrong?
  6. I think their sister(at one time) VA is still going. https://www.pacificairways.net/
  7. There are some good VA's out there that fly props but non that I know of that have their own ATC service. The best I can recommend is that you join a prop VA that flies in the West Coast of the U.S. and then join PilotEdge. https://www.pilotedge.net/ PE is more realistic than VATSIM but they are better built for VFR ATC than VATSIM is.
  8. I can't get this aircraft to start. Anyone else having these problems?
  9. I want to buy the L39 but I noticed that depending on the paint they are showing different cockpit layouts. Are the cockpit layouts tied into the specific paint job or are they all available to all L39 paint variations?
  10. Are you supporting MSFS2020? I ask because it doesn't seem that you are. It looks really good. I would like to see how the dispatch and bid system work. I can't without joining first. I'm afraid you will get a surge of people joining only to check out these features.
  11. I flew the C172 from KSNA to KVNY via SFRA LAX I tried to do that within the confines of MSFS ATC but not sure how well I did.
  12. so I load up the xcub amphibian and I have no nosewheel steering and no water rudder down animation. any ideas? I tried the 172 amphibian - I had nosewheel steering but no animations for wheels up or water rudder down
  13. Is there a setting to get rid of the distortion when using the drone.showcase camera? Under graphics I turned on lens correction and that works for pilot/VC mode/view.
  14. Isn’t it nice to be at high altitude and not have any of those repeating texture tiles?
  15. What most people want are flying clubs/groups, not an airline. People generally don't want to be told where, when and what they can fly but they crave the social aspect of it. The above post shows this clearly.
  16. I’ve been spoiled with the Flight1 GTN750 in P3d With msfs we have the g1000/3000 My question is is there anyway to lookup airport info on the frequencies using the g1000/3000? I’m finding the only way is to print out airport diagrams from skyvector.
  17. I had AH2 for P3d but didn’t like that all airplanes of the same make & model cost all the same But I did like you could do off airport landings and that would be great in msfs. I had my first flight in Neofly and it was ok. It had me delivering some cargo to a private strip. Now my question is any of them allow you to not include private strips?
  18. Thanks, I'll check that out. I did sign up for one month of OnAir - I'll see how that goes.
  19. I’m looking for one that would allow you to do flightseeing tours? Anything exist?
  20. I’ve heard that the new sim has no radio towers depicted? What about pipelines. I wanted to do some pipeline spotting, etc. My new computer is arriving in about two weeks or so...
  21. New computer.... I’ve been flight swimming since the mid-1980s. My computer gave out one month before flight simulator 2020 was released. I have several questions about the new flight simulator. I noticed watching a video on YouTube, did the new simulator get rid of the outside versus inside the VC? In other words they were like modes were you had to be outside and then you could be inside. I noticed in one of the videos that was showing off the new Carenado Cessna 182 that he was in the outside view and then he just moved into the inside of the virtual cockpit view and then close the door. If this is truly possible this is really a breakthrough in my mind, talk about immersion factor. I would like to hear some of your comments about this if I saw this correctly.
  22. I agree with you. Most VA's will say they're different but when you begin to look at the details they are like everyone else. Most VA's aren't anything close to a real airline. Most are just public logbooks or glorified aviation clubs. I'm not sure what you're really wanting in a VA. You seem bored with them. In real life, I think boredom plays a real part in a pilot's life. Lots of A to B then B to C then C to A and a lot of out and backs. That's part of the deal. Truth is most people, especially flight simmers wouldn't want a realistic virtual airline, they we be bored out of their minds. Could you list specific items?
