I think that is a problem in photogrammetry. I whinged about that too because I like swanning around at tree top height around my locality. I bought Accusim Seasons which lets you reduce tree height but not with photogrammetry turned on. My other sim was Aerofly FS2, and they had trees in roads, buildings etc. But .... you could change tree density right down to zero. Be nice if we could do that in MSFS.

I do not do cold and dark but Stanstead is there at least on my rig (set to medium). If you go to world and type in London in the search box you will see it on the list. :)

What beautiful country that is too. I just did a quick flight there. I did not see any trains though. What settings do you have on your rig? (I am on medium settings with 50% road traffic). Perhaps that is the answer to missing trains for some of us.

I am thinking that Steam products are best. For one thing you never have to go looking for passwords for the sites you downloaded your software from as you only need to know your steam id and password. For another it is always kept up to date and ready to play if you enable auto updates.

My wife's first husband was into ham radio. I think if I bought one of those she would be my ex wife pretty quickly as she hated him more than anything. :) But I would otherwise because I used to be a radio operator on patrol boats and it was good. What is wrong with using Discord or another of the many voice apps instead?

No pictures but I did a short flight from Fremantle up the Swan river to the Perth CBD and back. There are quite a few sunken boats at marinas at the Freo end but it was a pleasant flight. :)

Well that is good to know. I have cleared up my HD and used the content manager and now have about 150 gb free so I am much happier.

i am running MSFS on my laptop which is an AMD Ryzen 5 dual GPU (2gb Radeon Vega and 3gb Nvidia) low end gaming one with 8gb of ram and a 500GB SSD. No complaints speed wise with around the mid 20's FPS at Medium which suits me. But .... when I checked to see how much room I had this morning with a view to buying ORBX KSPS Palm Springs I noted that the installation is already at about 255 GB. My question is do you guys only enable the world updates for the areas you want to fly in or do you compress your SSD or put any data on external drives? I am eagerly waiting for the Australian World Update and I am sure that will be pretty big so I am concerned that I only have 55GB of free space.

My CTD seems to happen when I am changing airports to fly from. I also wonder if the internet quality might be a factor as I seem to get too many little kick outs to play any on line games especially in the afternoon.
