Yes, computer is new dell xps 8950 windows11 PC tower, with a regular Mouse. I have " dragged" and "dropped" the patch out onto the main desktop till i find FS9.exe to drop it on. I found a things that have FS9 but none have the " .exe" on the end.

First, Thank you for taking the time!! Having to stop and figure out where the files are and how to get and how to actually physically move and drag replace stuff into another file... ie;.... educate myself on how to actually work a computer lol and cringe.

Question for you, will fs 2004 install directly into windows 7 ...without moving files or downloading anything ( I have found a computer for sale) Thanks Aaron

Thank you again!! And yeah I found that thread ( although I believe it's always referring to window 10 but I believe what works for 10 works for 11) and they have been extremely nice the problem is me...outa 10 my computer skills are 0.5

Thank you! Do you know if the 145 they have for fs2004 and 10 could work for 2020? (already bought fs2020 and can't seem to get my fs2004 to work on new desktop window 11) I'm in " catch 22" hell Thanks Aaron

Thanks...currently trying to make fs 2004 work on new desktop window11 then try feelthere Embraer 145 for 2004/fs9 if no worky, on to fs2020 and the p3d4 145 ...ugh or maybe the lockheed-martin, never heard of it sounds interesting for my purpose

Ok found and installed update. Now for fs91_nocd I see 2 different ones...one says zip and other says folder...is this normal or should I download again?

And just to be up front with my computer skill outa 10 is a 1. My experience level is in 2006 I got fs 2004, installed it, then got feelthere Embraer 145, followed tutorial, installed. Disconnected computer from internet so it could never get infected and never used it for anything else. Then compaq presario died. ( 8 yrs in moisture ridden storage unit killed it and computer repair place will not touch it because of mold and corrosion).

Feelthere site says they have a 145 for p3d4....so does that mean works on fs 2020 ? Forgive my ignorance, last time I purchased anything for msfs was 2006
