Take these base models for instance. Originally linked to the old library but now I could not find them here. Only repaints for the model will show up using various criteria but not the base model which is what is supposed to be looked for.

    See attachment

The problem I am seeing with the file search is that you can't get any results using the original file name, it is not even displayed on the landing page for the actual file. This is a must fix. Of course if I am missing something here please let us know.

You can using the search box:Search.thumb.jpg.abca5ff1da6b5aa7a0ab2d3f4cc19cec.jpg

Searching FS2004 Guatemala Air Force Cessna 208B retuns:

Showing results for 'FS2004 Guatemala Air Force Cessna 208B' in files. - FlightSim.Com

    There you still have the option ;

Is there a way of private messaging, or has that been eliminated?

If you hover the name of a member , you will see this option

You should see the icon for your messaged on the top menu. Old messages have been preserved.

I saw a post in the FSX forum by a "Guest"??  Non members are allowed to post?  Also not seeing a "Report" button to report suspect posts!

    Tx Zippy.

    Both fixed.

As said earlier, it will take a while to have everything dialed in. thanks for your patience.

As grimsel says, it appears you will now need to select each FS2004 category you are interested in and look for the first few files, which will be the newest.

We can improve that with landing pages for each section. Will be done in a few days

Where the hell is the view mode that shows the file contents?

    Bernard

    Hi Bernard,

that would be the 'download' button. Is there is only one file (zip), it will download it. If there are several files, they will be listed.

    Cheers

I have the same question as douga66 - I have many files. And on top different versions of the same scenery. So should we report files one by one, one by one and only latest versions - or all in one list. On top, I created some intermediate versions just for myself. Therefore I can easily give a list of what I have on my computer, but not necessarily a list of what I uploaded.

So, Adrian, it would be nice if you could be a bit more specific, please. Thank you!

Other than that I am getting more and more familiar with the new lay-out. Curious to see, what is coming.

With the old system, I remind you that files were NOT linked to an author.  The author name was listed in the file description but the owner of the file was flightsim.com.

    2 options:

    1. Send me a list and I will place these files into your account
    2. Upload new files when you can and they will be listed under your account

In both cases files will be under your control: You can update them, upload new screenshots and comments about them with members.

I am taking JSMR's  and Dominic's comments to heart and also giving this a chance.

I've already asked for an upload to be moved to my account to see how that works.

Change is hard for everyone, especially old salts like me.

Looking forward to the dust settling and getting back to what this is all about, Having Fun and Sharing our appreciation of sim flying.

    File moved to your account:|
    You can upload new screenshots

  10. Files uploaded this morning and yesterday do not show on the new forum. (as the transition was in progress) . They will need to be re-submitted.

The new upload system has more flexibility. Files will now be under their owner's accounts (where they can update them, if necessary). Screenshots will be larger, etc.

    thanks for your patience.

  11. Please make suggestions here - It will take several weeks until we get the final design.

Please stay civil, we are aware of missing features, they will come back.

Now that all download files are currently placed under a single user:  FlightSim Files

If you are the original owner of the file, please contact us and we will place it under your account
