  1. Thanks for your comments, much appreciated. In the very first lesson, the first task is to look around the plane using the Shift-Up/Down/Left/Right buttons. I tried that and nothing happened. I had a look in the configuration and indeed that's what's assigned. Then why doesn't it work? I found out I could use Control-Up/Down/Left/Right enabled me to move forward in the lesson. I did some further research and found there was no way I could assign those keys. Pressing Shift-Up assigned Shift 8. Pressing Shift-8 on the numeric pad in numeric mode resulted in Shift-8-Up, three keys. Pressing Shift-8 on the numeric pad in non-numeric mode resulted in Shift-8. I was not able to assign Shift-Up. I'm at a loss.
  2. Thanks for the link, very good. However, it doesn't help me. I'm trying to assign the key combination Shift-Up, which should be COCKPIT LOOK UP. If I look into the configuration that is what's assigned. In training mode this does not work, neither does Shift-NumericPad 8. I just don't get it. I tried the control assignment are again with the following results. Shift-Up gives Shift-8 Shift-Num-8 gives Shift-8-Up Shift-8 gives Shift-8 If I assign Shift-8 and try it in the trainer, no effect. Something strange going on. Any ideas?
  3. Hi Folks, Having trouble with the keyboard mapping to the point I can't continue with the first training session. My first task is to look around the plane using the Shift/Left/Right/Up/Down arrows. No action. The only way forward in the training is to use Ctrl instead of Shift. Later on, when in cockpit view, I notice that Shift/L/R/U/D interact with the yoke!? I go into control assignment and Shift/L/R/U/D are assigned to the camera direction? I have other key assignment issues as well, but first things first. This is all rather frustrating. Can anyone offer me some assistance please? Thanks.
  4. Hi, Newbie here. I have a question regarding assigning controls. Prelogue: There seems to be two or more sorts of controls: Keyboard/Mouse controls and Saitek controls of which there are two: Buttons and yoke movement controls. The Question. The yoke controls show as bar graphs that work in real time, i.e. If you move the yoke, the bar graph changes. The same does not appear to happen for the buttons. Yes, you can see what's assigned, but there is no dynamic change when you click/move the button. Is there some way to achieve this behaviour? Thanks.
