UPDATE: Problem solved. Turned out it was McAfee antivirus that blocked the files - both on free flight and when it comes to 3D effects. Works like a charm now! Thanks for the feedback!

Hi Steve, Yeah, it is quite a strong PC and the graphic settings are all on ultra. Trees and airports (incl. buildings work ideally). My internet speed is 100/100 mpbs so that should be plenty too. My laptop is two days old and I bought it for the purpose. It came with one month McAfee anti-virus subscription, so I am suspecting that McAfee may be blocking the files? :confused: I am currently re-downloading and hoping for the best. Last time it ended up saying that I did not have the required permissions to change the data in the folders, so it sounds to me like it is related to that. I haven´t found any similar issues at least online. - Mathias

Hi guys, I have MSFS through Xbox subscribtion and it open flawlessly. However, first time I go to free flight it crashes during the loading process and when I open it again after I can´t press the ´fly´button. No other game modes are affected, however, buildings do not appear in 3D. I have reinstalled the game 2 times and still no fix. Any suggestions to what may help? :)
