  1.

My guess is Just Flight and Flight1 probably want to only release something when the sim becomes more refined and also wouldn't kill it with a new sim update..

Well, to be all honest, Flight One could do one now - they just don't want to with what's available for the SDK...They sell OTHER PUBLISHER'S products, but not their own, so its alright for them to make money off of other people's work in their market place but not dable and learn on the way to try to at least create something usable in the mean time.

    Practice Makes Perfect.

  2. No, I don’t think that’s true if you keep Flight sim running all the time. It only checks for updates when you first launch the sim.

Of course... it could easily go wrong. You accidentally switch off the pc.. you have a power cut... or simply just a CTD.

Oh okay - but also the sim would use a LOT of resources in the background of other games, programs, etc, so why would you want to limit performance of the system? And true on the other aspects of CTD etc...then bam - update.

  3. so CTDs to continue through world update 6.....that's real encouraging. Seems a few things they are making us wait until update 6. I'm starting to loose faith in Asobo as well. Not to the point to leave to go to another sim, but they're development skills are a complete disaster. I say Microsoft Fire them and have a developer take over that knows what its doing.

Just pay attention to what your Beta testers say and actually listen to them before releasing another broken Hotfix. I can't believe no one noticed half the errors in Performance Update 5 before it was released.

  4. Alienware Aurora R11, 32 GB ram, Intel i7-10700F, GeForce RTX 2080 Super

Be thankful you got your Alienware. I tried to get an Area 51 top end they had advertised. They pulled a bait and switch, so I cancelled my order and got my liquid cooled system I have now. It was a nightmare going through alienware, I'll never buy anything from them again, and had one of theirs once already. But the way they were with this last sale, sadly not at all. I'm sticking with Thermaltake from now on.

  5. It should be fine, but realize, its known add-ons cause issues after the updates. You need to empty your community folder before updating it. Even if you just copy it to another location on the drive on your computer. Its a must step before updates.

How many ghz is your computer Prociessor? You fail to mention that. How many cores? otherwise should be alright.

  6. Bug thread on official forum is now approaching 500 post. Makes me wonder if you are actually trying to use this software as a flight sim or if your just flying between the buildings from an outside view in NYC with an xbox controller. If the later then ya the sim works fine.

For your info - did a flight in Carenado's Seminol today - nearly two hours of flying from Block Island, RI to Linden, New Jersey, on ULTRA passing New York City, real weather, all settings on ULTRA. Guess what - no issues. I'm using this as a sim and not the other way you were wondering - so guess that removes your little theory how I am using this program....
