I follow the SOFLY guide , version 1.50 On page 26 there is spoken of filling in the search field with coordinates. When i do that and finishing it, there is no spot where i can click on "add arrival" to going further. Today i found by coincidence the spot to click on. See movie. EUREKA!!!!!!! Stempski is right. After repairing he suggested, it worked again. But instantly it is updating. ******************* Plainsman i do always install my prgrs on the SSD C drive.. This is because i am user of Instant Rcovery. So, it is easy to export or import windows operatingsystems. Imported this 135 GB in 50 min. I can delete the old one. Frits

mine MSFS2020 is totally installed on a permanent SSD drive.(512GB) just imported a copy of a system with few prgrs but mainly MSFS2020. Save date was 23-09-2020 It is a good working copy. But to day i made also copy of the registry with Registrar registry. So , i could always return. But i did not know that MSFS2020 uses or made a map WindowsApps. It could be it is generated the first use, or it is made during installation of MSFS2020

pitty..... less response then before. It does nothing, also not jumping to the store. *********** i see , i have a system saved(23-09-2020) with nearly only MSFS2020 on it. (144GB) i go import it , and try again.

Stempski; i did mainly install on my SSD C: drive. I did n't know it uses also a small map on another drive. It was a USB drive. the drive letter changed. Because of that i placed a copy of the last intact windowsapps on each drive. I will now try your suggestion. Frits

strange thing was, or better is, that i could not copy windowsapps to another drive with Total Commander. i will do that because MSFS2020 makes another nearly identical map on a other drive. But some submaps are empty. With a external prgr , i succeeded and placed a copy on each drive i have. Then started MSFS2020. Did it play:NO. But there is some progression. Now by starting, I jump automaticly to the Microsoft Store page and invited to play. But that did not happen. In the mean time i have placed a message to AERO..... Frits

How to repair MSFS 2020 i have a copy of Windows 10 with MSFS 2020 and few other prgrs on harddisk. But repairing of MSFS 2020 looks to me difficult. a couple of days ago, i needed a USB harddisk temporary for my other computer. So, i unplugged it and used it. After that back to its orginal place. But most times a harddisk letter will change. ( i have lots more hanging on the computer) so I would start MSFS2020, but nothing happens. i investgated the problem and it looks that MSFS 2020 not only installs on my SSD C drive, but also a piece on another drive. see picture I think , when starting MSFS2020, the prgr looks in that small piece on a other drive, to that part. I think it looks now to the wrong drive and don't start. How to repair that ? i have looked with a registry editor to the problem, but it is to complicated for me. Is there a repair prgr ? If i can't solve the problem , i have to install 10 dvd's again, what is very time consuming. Frits Egelie

i use for that TOTAL COMMANDER search! Try it. Perhaps you find it.

it is on disk 1.. you need it all the time. (each use of MSFS) like in MSFS 2000. But for that .exe there was a patch.

reading all those complaints, whereof lotst are true; the cause of some could be bad programming. Old member of the Dutch magazin "Computertotaal" I read once that lots of trouble was caused by that. When programming some for windows, it has to be programmed by the rules off Microsoft. That does not always happen. That is the main reason why i use "INSTANT RECOVERY" from Raxco.com. You can use that prgr for lots of things, but also for installing 10 times windows 10 or other windows if you like. So, i always have a blank or Empty windows 10 installed and backitup on my harddisk. When installing and using a new big prgr, i got a copy of that empty windows 10 (named snapshot) into my 512 GB SSD and install and try the prgrs. When no problems i installed perhaps on my regular windows 10 snapshot. On this moment i have 3 times snapshots of windows 10 and used 272 GB. i have room plenty. and exporting of a snapshot takes not so long. so what i did with the new Sim, was importing a empty windows 10 snapshot ( about 20 GB) , update it and then install my 10 DVD's. After that more windows 10 updates and after that MSFS upates. when ready and playeda while i did make quickly a export of THAT windows 10 on harddisk. There are a few prgrs more on that windows 10 liKe: TOTAL Commander" and mozilla thunderbird, and whatsapp, and roboform. That's about it. So, by this i can circumvent lots of potential prgrs with perhaps hidden errors. i see ,i must rename Fs2000 in FS 2020 Frits

undocking gauges and others No. But you could replace windows to another monitor when clicking in the examples on the red arrows. Then pickup the window and replace it to a second monitor. Next time clicking on the red arrows does instantly move(s) the window(s)

my logbook looks very strange: It was before the update. Departure and Arrival are the same ? after the update it does not log anything!!

Thanks Apollo, MSFS works indeed. Sometimes there is a problem. The connection to the Yoke is gone. I had to go to the controls to manipulate it again. So, i thought a CORE package looks to me important!! we will waiting!!

I am exploring the new FS 2020! In content manager, there are lots of packages installed. But one not.!!! the name is : CORE CONTENT manadatory packages It is since 20-08-2020 So what to do. It looks to me important, then it is core content. Frits Egelie
