    CN/42877 delivred on 1947 originally to Pan American Grace Airways, later delivered in 1959 to Mexicana operating both domestic & international routes, XA-MOO was written off August 1969 after a chash landng accident at Tuxtla Gutierrez. Textures only for the JBK Douglas DC-6 Late (radar), by Juan Antonio Martinez Castro.

    SAESA (Servicios Aéreos Especiales S.A.) started in 1961 operating domestic flights between Mexico City, Poza Rica and Reynosa operating C-46´s , by Mid-late 1960´s expanded to Tampico, Monterrey and Mérida using DC-6.

    CN/43024 delivered in1947 to United Airlines as N37535, it served on the domestic routes well until 1968. Textures only for the JBK Douglas DC-6 Late (radar), United Airlines livery and wing/engine visuals adapted from the CalClassic DC-6 Paint Kit, by Juan Antonio Martinez Castro.

  4. OAKB Kabul 1963

    The Kabul international airport (KBL/OAKB) was built by engineers from the Soviet Union in 1960 when Afghanistan was trying to catch up with other developed countries in all areas, including tourism. The government planned to attract travelers from the US, India, and Europe through transit flights.
    This era tragically ended in late 1970s when the country began facing political turmoil.
     
    This scenery depicts Kabul International Airport around 1963, based old photos and postcards using a custom made terminal building, courtesy of Google 3d Warehouse. Scenery includes terminal and military air base ramp and 2 military AI aircraft

    This set of fantasy liveries represent a "What if" the YF-17 had impressed the US Navy and put into service as a carrier based jet fighter. These liveries mostly match e some used on the early 1970´s by the F-14 Tomcat  ...use your imagination & enjoy!
