Hi Chris. Thanks for the interest. What I'm trying mostly is getting FS98 and FS2000 addons, especially from UK2000. The website is wonderful, but only has FS9 and newer addons. And by your links, I don't know to access to old software files. (Unless they are in a page which is accesible today, like https://www.uk2000scenery.co.uk/) In particular, I'm trying to find FS98 and/or FS2000 UK2000 Manchester scenery. I had thought I could access to files that are not normally accesible now. But I can't see if I'm getting images, links files. I also don't know if should suscribe, or pay. But information in the page doesn't look too friendly to me. But many thanks for your interest and effort

Hi Tom, thanks. Here I can enclose you the DirextX configuration. It's all activated. I have another PC (a laptop), which has FS2000 with 3d Acceleration working perfectly, which also has Direct 12, but has the same 3 DirectX lines, but with another line below which says DirectX12 Ultimate (Deactivated) Will it have anything to do? For the rest it seems working. And in this PC I have 3d Acceleration Working without problem in FS2004. BTW. Congratulations on your Calclassic.com Website. It's wonderful. I'm a big fan of Retro FS. Hi, Tom No problem to install it or run it. But the 3d enable hardware acceleration option remains grayed without being able to be activated.

By then I tried to install I verified 3d hardware features in DirectX and are all well. Do you know why that could be? Hi. I have a problem in a new Laptop where I installed my 737-400 Greatest airliners. The aircraft only works if I change to a conventional panel. It seems to be a problem of gauges. Hi: I have installed FS2000 in a couple of PC's. But in the newest one I installed, I can't get to Enable the 3d Hardware acceleration, so the game runs much worse. I also have FS2004 installed, but everything there about 3d hardware is fine. Do you have 3d hardware acceleration enabled? Which Windows version do you have?

in FS2000 I have had no problem installing it.

Hi, it does work in W10. Maybe not with all cards, but I got it to work in a GTX 1050, so, unless you suspect you have a very high one, I would try the following. - Run everything as Administrator and in Compatibilty Mode (Windows XP Service Pack 3 or 2) (I remember, when I did like that, it still made me update Direct X drivers, but the system did it automatically and it worked) - If that doesn't work, try to install it in another W10, better older than newer and see. If you still have problems, maybe your copy has problems or you could be doing something wrong. Regards

Hi I also run FS98 under W7 32 bits. I wondered how much usable RAM memory you get. I only get 2.99 GB from 4 GB total. Also I like running FSTraffic and/or dynamic sceneries more or less busy, but I get errors and crashes. Basically, G3D.dll and DDRAW.dll errors. I don't know if they are Memory related, but anyway, do you get rather busy Traffic with your configuration? (I have an Intel I7 first generation i870 at 2.93 GHZ and an AMD Radeon R7 200 Card). And with loaded FS2000 I don't have that problem. Thanks.

Hi all. What can cause thouse displays to switch off in this addon? (Or whenever this can happen). I have that problem when I start a flight. Even, they slightly illuminate and then they switch off. Randomly swapping aircraft finally sometimes the problems gets solved, but it's annoying. Does someone know why that can happen and proper way to solve it? Regards.

As my thread had a lot of views, for those who could be also interested, I finally got London City Live for FS2002 (from World Air Simulation) by ebay, which is also valid for FS2000, and has a wonderful scenery for LCY, and also very nice BAE aircraft both for flying and as static aircraft. Hi all: I wanted to ask you. Do anyone of you have tried it? I found an opportunity, but it's very expensive. However, my main concern is it could be incompatible with airports sceneries which have their own mesh/terrain. (Normally, that terrain is quite bad, but I would be afraid to have worse outcomes, and I don't want to lose the airports either. So do you know if it blends well with other sceneries? Regards.

Hi, I am glad it worked. By the way, I have got to run FS2000 at maximum without trouble in W10 64 bits in 7 y.o. PC's but also in a new one, not most advanced, but still i7-8700 with Intel UHD Graphics 630. It runs quite fast there. The only thing I had to do was to install everything as Administrator and where there was an issue, executing in Windows "solving compatibility issues" Mode, if i recall correctly. Regards.

Hi all: I'm interested on getting old payware UK sceneries for FS2000. More in particular, London airports, and especially London City. Anyone has anything?. In their main page there is nothing older than FS2004. Here in Flightsim I've seen several sceneries, in their shareware version, so for them, the key might do. For London City, I couldn't find anything. I even got GBAirports 2001 with a LCY version, but I would like something better, maybe other options, but I doubt there is something else than the UK2000 one. You can send me a private message too. I don't think that specific change has to do with FS2000.cfg. I suppose there have been some changes in Chicago scenery BGL files (Chicago5, Meigs, or maybe some other BGL files). Especially if Airport 2 has Chicago, would be a suspect. Check if you have those files, dated 09/1999. If you had newer versions, maybe that's the reason.

The Meigs traffic I just discovered it a couple of years ago, and I had it in one of my PC's but not in the other one. So I looked and I found that in that last one, I am missing a file called DYNLIB.bgl. If I remove it from the one that has it, Meigs traffic also disappears, so try to check that. In that case I could send you the file, but it might happen that some of your programs has deleted it on purpose, so take that in account in the case you reinstall that file. Another possibility is that you (or the programs installed), could have disabled Dynamic Scenery in Display Settings. If that's the case, you just have to set it again, but maybe it was disabled because of conflicts with other addons, FSTraffic, etc., so that's something to check.

I hadn't realized, but my FST version is 2.01. I guess it's newer than yours. Are you sure your version is FS2000? Anyway, I would download FST 2.01 demo and install it with the serial. Try that and see, because most aircraft should install without problem.
