Guys, try this:

 

Open MS Store and click on the three dots.

 

Select My Library.

 

Select Installed in the list on the far left.

 

Find Microsoft Flight Simulator and click on the thumbnail image (NOT the blue Launch button on the right!)

 

The game preview video will start and the initial update will start automatically.

No, nothing. I just wait a day or so.

A twotter would nearly be as good as a Beaver. I actually sat next to the pilot in a Beaver out of Vancouver (Harbor Air) on a scenic flight - it was great.

How do you know that Aeosoft are working an a twotter as I couldn't find anything at the web site?

And on a warm start at the runway no pfd (pfd is there, no information in it), no mcdu.

You are right, I meant to write : when your cursor is in a window for a choice like weather or view or when you made a choice in one of those windows then I loose control over flying, including my joystick........

switch to exterior view to have a look round, back into the cockpit

When you switch view to exterior you loose all controls, including joystick, throttle etc. Switch back to 'interior' and give one mouse click anywhere and you get controls back.

It's a bit weird, but try.......

Keep in mind that FS 'remembers' what you had open and re-opens the windows at the next flight.

No need to close these windows.

Yes, that works, I use it for camera, weather and the moving map, sometimes for ATC.

Open the window ( like camera), make it 'big' by pressing the icon left from 'x' (close), press this icon again. Then drag to your other monitor.

I must say that my second monitor is a laptop, connected with a program called 'spacedesk', i'm pretty sure that this works on a monitor as well

ILS in EHRD from the south is missing, ILS 06.

Valkenburg is present, in real life closed years ago.

EHWO ( Woensdrecht) is missing as well.

yes I found the possible approaches in the G1000 as 'ils 24' etc. But could not find frequenties yet.

Hi,

When I fly from A to B I prepare myself by getting the frequenties for an ILS landing.

On a simple airport I could write down the frequenties for both sides of the runway, but on on the more complex airports this make no sense.

When ATC assigns another runway then expected i'm stuck. How do I get the ILS data 'in flight' ?
