Something I am coming across more frequently are STAR's differ depending how you make your flightplan. I have a Navigraph subscription and I believe that if I make a flightplan using Little Navmap (LNM) and export it as a MSFS flightplan to load into an aircraft in MSFS on start up, the STAR's should be identical if both LNM and MSFS2020 are using the same airac cycle, but alas they differ most times. This does happen sometimes when making the flightplan in Simbrief for MSFS2020. Has anyone else come across this and have an answer as to why this happens?
