So I goes to dxt and assure it is off, but just to make sure I turn it on, and out of curiosity I start the sim, and voila! I have external textures! Of course, no 2d panel, the 3d panel looks like a gaggle of owls with all the black circles, and dozens of black triangles everywhere at the airport. So I turn dxt off, the textures remain, but everything inside is still weird. Shut off fsx, waited, turned it back on, and back to the original problem. Removed the a/c with iobit uninstaller, reinstalled, no joy. Every other a/c in the sim works fine. Looks like I wasted 40 bucks.,
