This is a complete redesign due to multiple airport infrastructure updates / changes since my earlier release for P3Dv4, according to the latest GoogleEarth details, of the Austin–Bergstrom International Airport or ABIA (IATA: AUS, ICAO: KAUS, FAA LID: AUS, formerly BSM). It is a Class C international airport located in Austin, Texas, United States (the capital of Texas), and serving the Greater Austin metropolitan area. Located about 5 miles (8 km) southeast of Downtown Austin, it covers 4,242 acres and has two runways and three helipads. It is on the site of what was originally, Bergstrom Air Force Base. The airport and Air Force base were named after Captain John August Earl Bergstrom, an officer who served with the 19th Bombardment Group. The airport is the third busiest in Texas, after Dallas/Fort Worth and Houston–Intercontinental, as well as the 27th busiest airport in the United States by passenger traffic. As of 2023, there are more than 550 arrivals and departures on the typical weekday to 97 destinations in North America and Europe. 2. Well, I dont know if you will get this, but its taken me a long time for the "Ah HA!" moment. The problem with the AI aircraft stacking up on 36R is due to my error!! I placed and "ILS HOLD SHORT" on both taxiways (A and B) to 36R and it should have been just a "HOLD SHORT". The AI aircraft do not honor the ILS HOLD SHORT and thus the first aircraft to take the runway at 36R did so but never departed and all remaining stacked up waiting for the first one to clear the runway. I have also made many significant changes to KAUS with P3Dv5.4 and I will soon post my work here. I really apologize for this error....I tend to use 36L/18R for all my pers. flying and when I finally used 36R, the same thing happened to my/my AI and the light went on. Happy Flying
  3. Have not heard back regarding the issue with AI stacking up on 36R. Hope you found the issue. I have a massive number of AI aircraft (commercial) and have not had any problem. In addition, I have just completed KDFW, massive rework to conform to all the airport reconstruction in the past 3 years. I took out all of the ADE generated taxiway lights on all taxiways and replaced them with individual lights in the correct locations. Also removed all of the ADE generated taxiway edge lines and replaced them with GP lines which provides the ability to mix taxiway widths and have the edge lines look correct. I plan to upload this after having some friends test it. If you are at all interested, I would be happy to send a copy to you. Happy New Year

  5. I have taken on the task to create a P3Dv5.3 version of KABQ. I would like permission to include your KABQ terminal. This work is purely a hobby for me and all of it is freeware. Thank you in advance.
  6. Received the following when trying to "view" the file contents. "Unknown Compression Format" "The file la_guadeloupe_free_pour_p3dv4.z01 could not be viewed." Is this not a Winzip encoded file?...or is it just the name extension that causes the above errors?
  7. Thank you for the nice words. AUS is also my home airport and "yes" the P3dv3 version "should" work on FSX. If you would like an FSX compiled version, let me know. Lyman Lundquist Austin, TX
