  1. This issue is being discussed in two threads on LM's P3D support forum. It seems the solution is to uninstall the nVidia drivers, do a cleanup, and then do a clean install of the latest drivers. The threads on the P3D forum have all the necessary links. Jorgen
  2. In your computer's BIOS you should be able to what the temperatures are inside the computer. If they are high, then check that the fans are operating, and if necessary clean the computer, blowing dust out from the case. And do as Mallcott says and do a clean driver installation. You might also want to install the DirectX Redistributables from Microsoft. Jorgen
  3. I would start with nVidia tech support. Jorgen
  4. To help with OOMs, tune your FSX.CFG, using the tips here: http://kostasfsworld.wordpress.com/fsx-software-and-hardware-guide/ Large, complex sceneries can also cause OOMs as FSX runs out of VAS, which is the 4 GB area that a 32-bit application like FSX can access. Jorgen
  5. Given that this thread is over 2 years old, he has probably succeeded installing by now.... Jorgen
  6. I don't know about ORBX, but I have UTX's complete works, and it works just fine and helps with what you're looking for. Jorgen
  7. In general, you should stop or disable all "unnecessary" tasks running in the background, as they "steal" CPU ticks that FSX needs - FSX needs all the CPU ticks it can possibly get. Such tasks include iTunes, Skype, various updaters, iCloud, OneCloud, Samsung's Magician and many, many more. It is difficult to advise you on which to stop or disable, because that of course depends on what else you use the computer for. But a neat tool that can help you is Ccleaner, which comes in a freeware version. You'll find it here: https://www.piriform.com/ccleaner/download Once you have it installed and you run it, select Tools from the left-hand column, then in the second column from the left select Startup. Keep a log of what you do, so if you stop or disable too many tasks it's easy to re-enable. Jorgen
  8. Since you're in Portugal, could the issue be that FSX-SE does not like your Portuguese-language keyboard? I have a German-language keyboard myself, made by Logitech, and on that you can switch between the German layout and the standard US-English layout by pressing Alt+Shift. Maybe that could also solve your problem. Jorgen
  9. Mr. Zippy pointed towards a possible malware issue. I have had good results with AVG Anti-Virus (the paid version) and Malwarebytes (also the paid version). Both are unintrusive, and AVG replaces Windows Defender, which is a little too intrusive to my taste. BTW, is the GPU driver fully updated also? Jorgen
  10. I'm just throwing out a series of questions here, which may be relevant or not: Windows 10 fully updated? Disks cleaned out, and (in case not SSDs) defragged? Anything running in the background that shouldn't be, like iTunes? Windows 10 privacy settings set to private? Cortana and OneDrive shut down? Jorgen
