Lovely set of pictures of the Martin 202, looks so much like a Convair 240? Thank you for sharing Jan, I always thoroughly enjoy your essays.
-
Lovely set of shots and a lovely repaint. Which is the model of Skyhawk are these repaints for? is it the Virtavia?
-
Oh, I would love a SMb2 for P3D!
Try restauravia or mirage4fs, but to be honest I haven't seen a super mystere for P3D anywhere.
-
They are North American F-100D Super Sabres, that the French Air Force used between 1958 and 1978.
The model is by Milviz and the French textures are mine. 3-JR is available on avsim and the outhouse, 3-JH exists only on my harddisk
Maybe Gérard got it mixed up with the Super Mystère, there is a great resemblance:

Thank you David, Happy New Year to you whenever it passes your time zone.

Lovely shots David, feeling cold? means you're feeling old. Happy new year.

That's a beautiful Mirage Khalid! :cool::cool::cool: I have the same problem btw...:D
Thank you Jan, yes I had the throttle less than a third open and she's doing 320 Kts. Sorry but I wasn't cut out for speed it seems.
Happy new year Khalid!btw didn't know Japan air force were flying our Mirage 2000. Great!
Ah cher ami Gérard tu as raison! the packaged text file with the download says it's a fictional repaint by Christoph Tantow. It looks good in any colours, its a Mirage!

Once in a blue moon I like to take a ride in this sports car, my M2M Mirage 2000. She is wearing the eye catching livery of Japanese Self Defence Force. I am flying this baby so slow that it has auto-deployed the spoilers, its the effect of flying DC3s and C46s all the time. I remember long ago flying in a fixed wing aircraft with a helicopter jock in control, and how he used to bleed the speed on short final to the extent the stall warnings start to shout and me begging him to add power. Sorta draws parallels with when someone like me flies a supersonic fighter.
Happy new year to all of you folks. :pilot: :cool:

thank you, I'm glad you like them. I'm really enjoying myself with AItrackerX here
A-ha! so that's the one? I thought you were using Fsrecorder. Best wishes.

Verrrrry nice, Kevin. Love the reddish colours of the early sun.

Another badass repaint for a badass aircraft! well done.

Quite a bit to tackle with a 172! Well done.

Beautiful Corsair Gérard. And the superstructure of the carrier in the background adds to the picture. Bravo.

Impressive job Ted. Quite a line up.

Beautiful set of shots Jan. I find the retro liveries so much nicer than the new ones, or is it just me?
Well done.

Neat David. Great photo series telling a story. Love it

Just awesome, love it!

Wth?
Exactly my initial impression when I first saw this ad :D
You could probably get away with that color if you asked everyone to wear sun glasses. :DYes and some air sickness tablets as well :o
-
This is an actual ad that I found online on the Daily Mirror website. The USAF has found a new use for its assets to generate some money, maybe fund itself  I don't know what strategy will they use to beat the competition (O'Leary beware, they have fighters in their fleet).
Click on the image to enlarge and read what's written on the fuselage of this plane
And check that colour too!
Totally idiotic advertisers must have googled "aircraft Morocco photo" and found this image of the Marrakech airshow and did a palette shift to present it as a picture of cheap flights to Morocco
-
Oh wow this is so nice. How do you fly two of them in a formation?
-
now they roll out in batches of fours - jk
Lovely high standard work.
