  1. This worked for me on FSX Steam Edition and DX9. But the 'texture.AAN860NN' folder should be renamed to 'texture.n951aa' as there is already another 'texture.AAN860NN' folder from 'aan860nn.zip' . Don't forget to update the 'texture=' in the aircraft.cfg file accordingly. Nice repaint, by the way!
  2. This texture is in sunset orange (like shown in thumbnail image), not white as expected. http://www.jetphotos.net/photo/8143148 http://www.jetphotos.net/showphotos.php?regsearch=N908NN
  3. Reading the filename itself, I thought it was the DHL texture (www.dhl.com) but it's not. His instruction in his 'readme.txt' file and his texture configuration worked, no problems, but there are several references to DHLC and KLM Cargo in his texture configuration. To fix this, do the following: After you've download this file, unzip the content to a temp place. In there, rename the 'texture.dhlc' folder to 'texture.lc'. Then copy 'texture.lc' to the default 747-400's folder. Find your default 747-400's folder and inside, the 'aircraft.cfg' file. Open it with your favorite text editor (usually Notepad). Copy this corrected configuration to the default 747-400's 'aircraft.cfg' file (at the end of other [fltsim.X's], 1, 2, 3, etc in the 'aircraft.cfg' file): [fltsim.X] title=Boeing 747-400F Lufthansa sim=Boeing747-400 model= panel= sound= texture=lc kb_checklists=Boeing747-400_check kb_reference=Boeing747-400_ref atc_id= atc_airline=Lufthansa atc_flight_number=9971 atc_heavy=1 atc_parking_types=CARGO ui_manufacturer=Boeing ui_type=747-400F ui_variation=Lufthansa Cargo ui_typerole=Commercial Airliner ui_createdby="Microsoft Corporation" description=More than 30 years ago, the 747 made its first trip from New York to London. Since then, it's become the standard by which other large passenger jets are judged. Its size, range, speed and capacity were then, and are now, the best in its class. Repaint by George Hutton Be sure to rename [fltsim.X] to the next sequence number in your 747-400's 'aircraft.cfg' file. If last one was a 6, then this one should be [fltsim.7]. Save the 'aircraft.cfg' file. That's it. You're done.
  4. Could someone update this one? This is no longer a fictional livery: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Eastern_Air_Lines_(2015) Pretty close! Mainly need light-blue engine nacelles and '737' on the rudder.
  5. Actually, this would be the better model in the aircraft.cfg (Fifi currently does not have the belly radar dome). model=B-29A (not B-29_late or B-29A_late)
  6. This livery was not showing up in my FSX because there's a typo in the variation entry in the 'Read Me.txt' file (line 15): 'model=B-29_late' should be 'model=B-29A_late'.
