  1. Yes, I have noticed it. I think that the only fix is through Asobo, but I suspect they're busy with more important stuff right now!

  3. I had the exact same thing happen and finally found a way to call them and talk. I was on the phone for 4 hours and talked to maybe 8 - 10 people, most of whom I could hardly understand because of language problems. I talked with the store, Xbox, and even a Windows tech (who took over my computer and couldn't find a problem). The last one I talked with advised to request a refund, which I did and was rejected because of the time I had it. I got a note from someone at the store later saying to resubmit the refund. I did and it was rejected. I finally repurchased from Steam and it works fine. A couple of months later, I went to the store and it downloaded - same computer. So I now have two copies of the Deluxe version on the same computer - different drives - and $79.99 less in my pocket. Good luck!
  4. I have been using TrackIR for years now, so this 77 year old just doesn't seem to have many problems with it. Yes, the adjustments require you to be outside the program in which you are using it. Any bright light behind you can cause erratic behavior. Getting back into the program while running is done by clicking on the little up arrow in the group of taskbar icons over at the clock area, opening the TrackIR icon with a right click and choosing the top line (not at that computer now) by left click which allows you to open with your taskbar icon (provided you put one there). I much prefer it over VR for screen clarity, visual access to controllers, and reading and taking notes, charts, etc. In X-Plane, it plays with X-Camera nicely, but it isn't needed in MSFS. Yes, I tried VR as a friend of mine took me to a VR shop in a local mall back before Covid days. They had X-Plane set up and spent a lot of time getting everything set up "properly". and allowing me to fly unlimited by time. They stayed with me and tweaked it many times - trying to make a sale. It was not a clear image and, although I could see the 3D effects, it just wouldn't work. After bringing my friend home and letting him use TrackIR, that's what he ended up buying and has thanked me for "saving him" many times. Set a couple of easily accessable keys/buttons for "center" and "freeze" and you're good to go.
  5. I have kinda/sorta read through this and I have two comments about the Saitek/Logitek Throttle Quadrants. One is that the Saitek?Logitek (same thing) devices don't like USB 3. They prefer USB 2 for some reason. Two - I bought the Yoke/Quadrant combination years ago and the first quadrant never worked. It was all over the place. I bought two USB replacements and paired them. They worked well for years until they just quit. When they would spike, I would just move the levers up and down many times to clean them. I took the original one apart (didn't work anyway) and would never suggest doing that... almost impossible to reach the pots without destroying the device. I did have some luck just spraying a LITTLE contact cleaner down beside the lever and working it a little, but the last time I did that was the time it quit. I replaced them with the CH Products quadrant and it works fine, but I liked the longer levers on the Saitek (more precise control).
  6. I redownloaded the entire program day before yesterday and got that message. After shutting down and restarting the next day, it was there.
  7. I had this happen a few months ago and I tried lots of things and I really can't remember what I did, but I think that with it checked off, I got out of developer mode using the drop down at the top of the screen rather than going back to settings.
  8. Use your mouse wheel to zoom in an out to your screen and the up and down arrows to move to the required area.
