  1. Why the bumps on every runway? Does anybody know how to get rid of them. I am flying only the airliners, and in 4K- 42” inch TV is my third monitor with all to ULTRA.
  2. No performance problems with the 747-400. Works ok but not the landing lights.

  4. My starting point is a good flight plan-SimBrief, and paying attention to the fuel numbers.
  5. The B748i is a long haul aircraft and weight and balance is very important. If you fly her for short trips e.g CYYZ to KORD and if you do not insert the proper numbers in the W/B then upon reaching the cruising altitude the oscillations will start, a lot of complains from fellow simmers. Also the landing will be very hard. I would like to add the VNAV works (always for me). See the attached screenshots. Prepare properly before you take off. Happy landings
  6. I understand your frustration, I have been there. This is what I was told to do. But again remember to start the sim not from the MS store, or (Xbox) but from where you were starting the sim in windows before your problem started. It seems to me it is a windows problem and not the sim's. You need to do a clean reinstall and follow our step-by-step guide to fix your installation. Before doing so, please do the following Step 1: Log out of the Xbox App (beta) Step 3: Log out of the Xbox Companion App (if installed) Step 5: Uninstall the Xbox App (beta) Step 6: Uninstall the Xbox Companion App Step 7: Reboot the computer Launch the game from the Windows tray (Type Flight Simulator) and see if the content (re-appeared) or is now downloadable. If the content is still missing, please follow these steps: Step 1. Make sure that you are logged in the Microsoft Store App on your computer with the Microsoft Account used to purchase your copy of Microsoft Flight Simulator Deluxe Premium Edition. We recommend signing-out and signing back again. Open the Microsoft Store app on your computer In the Windows Search Bar, type "Store" Click on Microsoft Store and select "Open" in the menu Click on the icon in the top right-hand side corner of the screen Under your email address, click on Sign Out Click on the profile icon again, then select "Sign in" and enter your credentials. Step 2. Make sure that updates such as Gaming Services and Xbox Identity Provider are correctly installed. Open the Microsoft Store App on your computer Click on the three-dots menu in the right hand side corner of the screen (or the arrow) Select Download and Updates Click on "get updates" Wait for all the updates to install Reboot your computer Step 3. Make sure that the Time & Language settings of your PC are correctly set up. On your PC, select Start, then select Settings > Time & Language. Go to Date & time to verify your time & timezone settings Go to Region to check your location. These settings must match the location and time zone in the Microsoft account. If they don't match you will be prevented to install your additional content. Step 4. Uninstall the Microsoft Flight Simulator app and delete any remaining Official and Community Packages. In the search box on the taskbar, type Microsoft Flight Simulator Click on Uninstall. A pop-up will appear. Click on Uninstall to confirm you want to remove the sim. DO NOT KEEP ANY LEFTOVER FILES. If you have installed Microsoft Flight Simulator at the default location go to C:\Users\YourUsername\AppData\Local\Packages\Microsoft.FlightSimulator_8wekyb3d8bbwe and make sure to delete any file that would still be there. If you have installed Microsoft Flight Simulator in a custom folder (for instance D:\MSFS) go to that custom folder and delete any leftover file. If you have downloaded and installed Community created content, move them to a temporary folder outside of the installation folder. Some community created content can prevent the Official content to install correctly. Step 5. Once Microsoft Flight Simulator is uninstalled Press the WINDOW key on your keyboard (Windows icon key) and type "Store" to bring up the Microsoft Store app Click on the icon in the top right-hand side corner of the screen to show the email address—Make sure you are logged in with the Microsoft account used to purchase MSFS. If you are not, sign out and sign bak in again with the correct account. Go to 'My Library' Select Microsoft Flight Simulator and select install Next, make sure to install Digital Ownership Step 6. Download and install the game packages From within the Store, click on Launch to open Microsoft Flight Simulator Follow the instructions on-screen to install the Mandatory content. Once the mandatory content is installed, if you see two aircraft in the hangar, you'll need to install the remaining additional content. Go to Profile > Content Manager Step 2: Select the content you want to use in the sim (we recommend to download all) Step 3: Click on Download selected to install the content you selected Step 4: Wait for the download to finish.
  7. I had the same problem. Two weeks with Zendesk did not do anything. Try to run the sim from the command line. In my case it solved my problem. Good luck.
  8. I have been through this. The Content manager was grayed. After more than two weeks with Zendesk I found out by myself to run the sim from the command line and worked! I do not know is his case though if it will work.

  10. Running the sim from the command line worked for me!!! So relieved.... I got all the Premium Deluxe content back. Time to fly the 787-10.......

  12. Did you buy the Premium Deluxe version? My 787 and the Premium Deluxe content disappeared too. I am in the past two weeks in contact with the Zendesk support but no solution yet! I am really pissed paying for the top of the line version and get every after so many de/re installs the standard content. Create a ticket with Zendesk but their response takes some time. You are not alone...

After the last Patch i lost 787-10 and I thought I could have it back by uninstalling/reinstalling FS2020(Deluxe-Premium version) but to my surprise I got the standard version with only two planes!!! Going to the MS store and hitting the install button on the Deluxe Premium it starts the download but somehow the digital ownership turns over to the standard version. The update is only 95.78GiB although the purchased one was 11.15GiB. Please look at the attached screenshots. So now XBOX always takes over and plays the standard version. I will appreciate your help. Thanks
  15. Has nothing to do with my rig. BTW I am an X-Plane cockpit builder and my rig is very strong. I am asking the question since many times I read posts in forums blaming the sim if something does not work-as a bug- and must be corrected in the next patch. I think the posters should look deeper in their system/performance aspect before making the bug statement. So, is my question a bit of pointless?

  17. That’s why you need the external app I suggested. In addition with this app you can travel up to 4x between WPs on long hauls.....

  21. After having a CTD during a flight with 787-10 next time I started the sim the 787 is no longer showing, see below. This happened after the new patch install. Any help will be appreciated.
  22. Are you referring to all planes? since the 748i and 787-10 have drop down menus on Dep/Arr airports where you can select runways/SIDS/STARS.
  23. I was trying to follow the steps you outlined but I could not find the "main flight planning map" unless you meant the World Map. I have attached a flight plan. If this is what you mean its fine but just from curiosity where are the sliders beneath the way points. Appreciate your time.
