Sorry if this has been covered before but I am at my wits end.
On running FSX I was having the Error code 1-80004005 and understand this is lack of activation, as it cut out after 30 minutes flying and asked me to activate.
Using some other web responses I did a completely clean removal and reinstalled FSX from my genuine 'Gold edition' and then got to the activation screen and entered the correct codes. The program then ran perfectly ok - no Error Code.
I then ran the 'Acceleration' disk and it went smoothly to the end, not asking for any activation codes.
Then running FSX it is coming up with the same Error Code. Obviously the 'Acceleration' disk has done something...:confused:
Any help would be greatly received.
