There are slight differences between fs2002 Aircraft and Fs2004. I generally avoid running Fs2004 Aircraft in Fs2002. I Never use Fs2004 panels because the gauges aren't compatible! The only problem I have using fs2000 aircraft in Fs2002 is missing data in the aircraft.cfg files! Nothing Like ui_manufacturer=Agusta Westland In Fs2000! Thanks! Christopher Tarana

I just downloaded the IAC Westwind Aircraft and took a look at it! The first I noticed was the Gauges.Zip was Named Gauge.Zip That would open to /Gauge instead of /Gauges. In some cases I find Fs2002 aircraft with Fs2004 panels and gauges! They don't mix safely! I recently moved a lot of files from C:\Fs2002\Gauge to C:\Fs2002\Gauges! Christopher Tarana

Using the [fltsim] alias=Lear45\Sound Command, You can alias the sound files too! Most of the time I copy panel and sounds from one aircraft to a new one. You can look into the C:\Fs2002\Aircraft Folder to see what aircraft are installed into Fs2002! Generally, when I install Aircraft into Fs2002, I sort by Maker, Type, And Variation! A Panel is a group of instruments used to navigate an aircraft. In some cases an add-on will have a full panel and in some it's "aliased" to another aircraft! I found two textures in my Fs2002 texture folder and I copied them out of Fs2002! submarine.bmp and sub_cfs1.bmp. It looks like a Uboat under a building or pen! I was wondering if anyone else has seen anything like that? I'm searching the likely places, Germany and France! The only thing I haven't spotted yet are Shooting Stars! Both North and South Geographical Poles are Landable! Ground Elevation in Fs98 is 7030 Feet MSL, and in Fs2002 it's 7.3 Feet MSL! Quite a bit of difference! Christopher Tarana
