I've had this up for a couple days and only one person has replied. So assuming you haven't seen it yet, here it is! Details are in the link.

  3. Sorry I can't join your group. I just never had a favorite airline that has been closed. I've only been into aviation for about 5 years. Sorry.
  4. I know. Hopefully if Aerosoft uses MP they wont use Gayspy.
  5. Lol, see ya tomorrow, or... today. Well, today for me and tomorrow for you. Hmmm...:confused::confused::cool:
  6. Yeah. I only use GPS for emergencies and GPS approaches.

Alright so, I'll get on, and you meet me in the airliners lobby at about 9:00-9:30 your time?

  7. No, no mic. I don't fly enough on MP to need one. We'll have to use chat. I never use the GPS function to hold a NAV course. It takes all the complexity out of it. Besides, we're flying a 727and they only had primitive GPS's back then. I am familiar with the normal, "all other planes" functions of the 727 but I'm not super educated on it. We can use VOR's and jetways. And we'll have to make it VFR because there's no ATC. (I don't trust myself with IFR in a 727).
  8. Yeah. I'll set up a session called Miami to Atlanta. If your not familiar with US geography it's about 1000 miles. I'll set up a flight plan and you simply click "Join Aircraft" when you get to the loading screen and switch your view to FO. We'll use the American Airlines livery. We can sort out the details diring preflight.
  9. Ok, let me do some math... If you get up at 9:00 your tim it would be about 5:00 my time. So I'll get on at about 4:00. My account is Constinator25. We can go to the airliners lobby. Do you want to do a short or long flight, and in Australia or US?
  10. Oh goodness. didn't think about that. It's 8:30AM in the States right now. What time do you usually get up?
  11. Sure. Who wants to be pilot?
  12. Yeah. It works just like real life. You just have to have the same bird. And I forgot to mention, I already tried the PMDG MD-11 on MP and it didn't work. It never "initialized" or loaded SID/STAR's. Dunno why. Not sure if it's like that with the 747 or the JS4100. Do you have any Captain Sim aircraft?
  13. Oh poo. I have only have the MD-11. Guess we can't do pilot/copilot.:(

We could still do formation flying!;)

  14. What PMDG's do you have?
  15. Sure, anytime. Just let me know. It'd be beter to do it within the next 2 weeks before I get back into the soccer/school/band/keeping up with this forum grind.
  16. I used to. I got into a VM and a Virtual Blue Angles Team, but I left because of a number of ongoing scuffles and poor leadership. Now, I rarely find a session that has like-minded people who aren't flying F-18's at Mach 2 into the ground. I still have a couple of loyal friends but I don't talk to them very much.:(

I haven't flown online in a really long time. But if you wanna fly I'll be happy to join. I'm a big fan of formation flying and copiloting.:D

    Merry Christmas to you too.

  17. When I first got FS9 I used a little game pad for about a month. Then I learned about joysticks (I had not been introduced to yokes) and got the Saitek ST290. Then, after about 2 years, I upgraded to the Saitek Cyborg X because of some slack in the controller. I still use it for planes that use a stick instead of a yoke. Eventually (within next year) I want to get either a second monitor or the Saitek X52 Pro. Oh, the possibilities... *wallet bursts into flames*
  18. I don't use Twitter. And unfortuately, I didn't get my pedals. I did get a butload of $$$ so I ordered them. Should be here in about a week. I am now drooling over the X52 Pro.;)
  19. I would have to say my A2A Piper Cub. Nothin like her.
  20. Thanks Joel! I got the Saitek Pro Flight Yoke System with Throttle Quad and a subscription to Computer Pilot Magazine!!!! I also might be getting rudder pedals on Thursday! Best birthday EVER! (even though I say that every year).
  21. Acer E2180

    2.0 Dual Core Processor

    2MB RAM

    320GB HD

512MB ATI 3450HD Vid Card with DX10 (although I never use it)

19" Dell Monitor (I take my shots in 1024x600, but a couple are in 1280x1024)

When I take a SERIOUS screenshot flight (a flight where I am totally focused on getting shots), I have all sliders maxed and all boxes checked (except for DX10 and air traffic). I get 3-5 FPS when I do these. Most of the time, when I'm doing missions or other flights, I have them set lower so I get around 10-20 FPS. I also use a program called Game Booster, which shuts down other unneccesary programs to get better performance. I also use REX, which doesnt do much to FPS.

  22. Interesting. I played 2nd string goalie when I was like, 6, but I never played it again. I stuck with foreward.

    Nice list btw.

  23. Well,

    Airliner- Boeing 727-200

    GA- Piper Cerokee, Cessna 152

    Modern Military- F-22, duh

Older Military- North American F-86 Sabre

    Vintage- PBY Catalina

    WWII- P-51 Mustang

    Regional/Buisness Jet- Bombardier CRJ700

All Time Favorite- North American F-86 Sabre

I also have different favorite airlines. When it comes to comfort and service, Southwest wins for me. But as for history/logo/paint scheme etc., I like American Airlines.

    Whats yours?
