Rusty Nail

Doctor Jevans....I am decidedly a junior member but racing to catch up! My question regads the implementation of G1000. I have it up and running, but I get confused even after I have flied a VOR or GPS flight plan. Some of the buttons discussed in the Learning Center don't appear to be working. Is it me?
