Hi, when i had the computer upgraded i was made administrator, i run everything as admin. Some Airports and such reccomend you do.

I would like to add my opion here. Upgraded my pc new mobo etc. Followed the advice of zswobbie1 and after a few interesting glitches i am up and running swimmingly. All addons ASE, GE Pro, AI Smooth, etc,etc. All my aircraft, can't speak for all as i don't have all the ones listed. My Capt. Sim C-130 works a charm. Shout out to all members who have assisted over the many years. You are GREAT. You know who you are. Thanks everyone, and keep the blue sky up. Cheers

I accidentally changed the Air file in FS9 and can't figure out how to change it back to notepad. When i select notepad and open it all i can see in the file is a mixture of characters and numbers, having not opened the air file before, i don't know if that is the way it should look. Help please.

Thank you for the info, al lthe points you make are in effect. ie; outside of program files, etc. As long as i click run as admin. it's all good, and that works for me, cheers.

Hi, i have read that AI Smooth works in Win10 with fs9. I install it in the modules folder and it works but when i end that flight and start another it does not work. When i open it, it is not connected to FSUIPC which is registered and also says FS9 is not running, but it is. Update when i open my modules folder and click run as admin. it works, but starting from the taskbar shortcut no joy.

HI, for those who are running FS9 on Win10 what driver are you using. I used to run Nvidia 384.94 with my Win7. With the Win10 i have GeForce 432.00 and it causes terrible shimmering. Is it advisable to install the old driver?

Thanks Mark, FS9 will always be my favorite. I just have to give fsx-se a try and see how it goes. Just hope that following Robins advice i can get FS9 running smoooth. Cheers

Hi, I'm finally moving to Win 10. I intend to follow the instructions by Robin for re-installing FS9. I also intend to run FSX-SE, i have many payware sceneries that are compatible with both sims. I want to ask my fellow simmers about any issues that you may have had installing programs such as REX FS2004 and Overdrive, GE Pro, Ultimate Terrain, etc Into FS9 of course.. If you have done the switch i would like to hear of any issues you might have encountered. Thanks, David

Took this out of the hanger the other day. Does anyone remember the key combo to get the landing lights to extend from the wings.

Hi, I installed the LTBA V1.21 scenery and the required Marmara scenery. I appear to have some type of duplicate coastlines. Followed all instructions as per readme. If anyone has these installed and could help it would be appreciated as the Airport is pretty good but the coastlines kinda spoil it. Thanks, Dave
