    I can't re- install FSX. The installation wizard gets to "removing applications" and hangs up. I have removed all the old files I can find including fsx.cfg and it still hangs up. All help will be appreciated. Thanks Don

    My terrain mesh scenery or what I actually see from the air is terrible. It is a checkerboard of green and tan colored squares and you can see the lines that divide the squares from each other. I have played with the sliders on Options/settings/display/scenery, but can't seem to find at least a tolerable solution. Is there any other place where terrain mesh can be adjusted? Perhaps in the FSX config file? Thanks to all, Don

    Thanks for your reply. When I click on the object it turns orange , then I when right click , the Lock Object option doesn't appear as an option. I'm trying to edit a VOR range and this happens with several airports. Thanks

    I am having a problem with raising the seat or raising or lowering the eye point with the 2D cockpit only. Shift + Enter and Shift + Backspace work for the VC only. I've tried CtrL + Shift + Enter and Ctrl + Shift + Backspace also Ctrl + Q and Ctrl + Shift + Q also Alt + Q and Ctrl + Alt + Q with no success. This is very helpful when landing. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks

    Thanks for your reply. It is installed in the programs folder. Can I create the new folder C:\FSX and move the FSX program over to that? Also can you help me with the raise the seat question (eye point)? Thank You Don

    Does anyone know how to turn off those red lettered titles in the upper top left side of the screen that show heading, speed, wind direction and speed etc. I want to do a screen shot an don't want those to show. Thanks Don

    Thanks all. I'll download them just to be sure. I'm returning to FSX since I got a new computer. It's amazing how much I have forgotten. Like how do I raise or lower the view point (raise, lower seat). The help section says shift + enter for up and shift +backspace for down, but they don't work. Thanks

    I am reinstalling FSX on to a faster Computer. I remember there were 2 patches (SP1 & SP2). Do I need to install them both? Also will I need to install the FSUIPC module? Thanks for any help. Don

    The memory you are referring to make dual channel, I take it is the 16GB DDR4 ram? Also I didn't realize the SSD could be designated to a particular program. It that done through the windows software? Thanks
