  1. I found the hidden files with the fs9.cfg. Good there. all the traffic bgl files seem to be here Flight simulator 9\Scenery\World\Scenery I checked FS9 settings: Settings > Traffic > Air Traffic. and everything seemed normal. Air traffic slider was set at about 20%, I moved it to 100%. I'll see if that changes the AI traffic
  2. It was low, around 20. I'll move it to 100%
  3. Guys, I want to apologize. I'm sure I'm making things confusing with the questions and answers, so if it's ok, I like to start over. I will refer to Flight Sim 2004 as FS9. I did a complete new install from the fs9 disc's to my laptop pc w/ Windows 10. C:\Flight Simulator 9 Installed the fs9 update installed the fs9 no cd patch I copied the folders and files from C:\program files (x86)\flight simulator 9 FOLDER ONLY!! from my old pc (it has been installed on for many years) Pasted the folders and files in C:\Flight simulator 9 on laptop pc I right clicked fs9.exe, changed to windows service pack and run as administrator and created a short cut to the desktop. I'm hearing a lot of you saying, and I'm seeing files in other areas, so I'm not sure if I have everything. I'm not sure where to put fs9.cfg The AI aircraft from add on scenery that I have installed are not showing up. None flying or on the ground. Traffic BGL seem to all be in the right place. Thanks for all the help
  4. I think I may have found part of my problem. What folder does scenery.cfg go?
  5. So from what I'm seeing, all my traffic bgl files are there Flight Simulator 2004>scenery>world>scenery
  6. I wish I could be more specific. I have a lot of add on scenery where AI aircraft fly to. A lot of the MAIW scenery also. A couple I flew yesterday is the MAIW Pensacola NAS and New Orleans NAS and Louis Armstrong airport.
  7. Ok, sorry. I'm new to this forum stuff. So basically what I did is install FS2004 from my disc to My laptop. Then I copied and pasted all the Flight Simulator 2004 files from C:\program files (86)\flight simulator 2004. Also on my laptop I dont have C:\users\(name)\appdata\roaming\ to put fs9.cfg in Where do I put traffic.bgl?
  8. One more question. My scenery is there, but the AI aircraft isn’t. Commercial and military.
  9. I should Have read the README file. I got it working. Thank you.
  10. I just downloaded an airport scenery file and all the individual files (.bmp,.bgl,.etc) are all just in the main folder. I know that is not correct, well I tried to fly from that airport and the sim crashes before the flight. Thanks
  11. I found it!! C:\users\(Name)\appdata\local\virtualstore\programfiles(86)\microsoftgames\flightsimulator9 That is a nifty tool. Thank you Leuen
  12. I have a backup on 2 different hard drives from a few years ago and both of those don’t have the Scenery.cfg either.
  13. Did that, I still don't see it. Even tried to do a file search from the main FSP folder. Nothing?
  14. I don't see Scenery.cfg on my old PC? I'm on my old pc that FS9 has been installed on for a long time. When I look at my scenery in the game, every thing is there.
  15. I have a newscenery.cfg and an oldscenery.cfg. Is that what your talking about?
  16. I did the copy and paste method, and everything went smooth except my addon scenery. It's in the folder, just not in the game. I'm having to re add the scenery. Did I forget to copy/paste something? Windows 10 Thanks
  17. LOL, Can you tell me how to deactivate one of them.
  18. I haven't flown FS2004 in a while, and when I flew the other night, I having my planes go to full throttle then back to low throttle, then full throttle seconds apart by itself when it is on the runway before take off. This game has been installed on my PC for many years. I also just installed it on my laptop and copied over the files from my PC and it is doing the same thing. Thanks
  19. I added a newer version of Denver and different runways are being used so that is working. However when I take off from KIAH just doing a quick flight (no destination) the active runway is always 33R. Also I tried taking off from 26R (KIAH) and the ATC ground redirects me to 26L.
  20. When I try to take off from runway 8 @ Denver, the ATC makes me go to runway 25.
  21. Hello, Can someone tell me why does the ATC only use certain runways. For instance when I fly to Denver Intl., all the traffic uses runway 25. When I fly into KIAH, all the traffic uses 33R & 33L. Thanks in advance btbenoit
