Thanks!

Are you trying to be political here in using the word "swamp"?
Not at all. If memory serves, I believe DC was built on a swamp. :-)

Hey David, great shots!! Living here between SDF and CVG I encounter lots of current and retired pilots and crew from both UPS and DHL on a regular basis.
One friend of mine said he was able to retire about 5 years earlier than expected because of the bonus pay he received to fly DHL 747s into Iraq war zones! He said he made as much or more per flight than in any 6 month period flyng as a regular 747 pilot.
He is Swedish born and his wife who is a native of Oahu is also a retired DHL pilot. They both spent much or most of their career flying out of CVG. It's amazing to me what a small world we now live in!
Michael
Now that is a story I enjoy! Thanks for that. Nothing better than financial planning

Nice flight and pics. of the DHL bird David. Did they have to disinfect it when it landed? :D
Yes and I got out in a hazmat suit!
Thanks Larry

Great series David!! The Lear 45 has always been one of my favorite birds! The kick in the rump on takeoff reminds me of a fuel dragster. ;)
As to retirement, hang in there! Once it happens, you'll find it was definitely worth the trouble to get going!
Michael
Thanks Michael!
Depending on what happens with this tyrannical jab mandate, I may end up in an unplanned early retirement! I’ve been reading the almost 500 page “rule†from the Federal Register and it’s a power grab, money laundering joke from my point of view. No court in their right mind should let this thing pass.

I hope those clouds cleared for you David!
Pick me up on the next flight south!
I’m not sure. Still hanging out here! Pick you up on the next trip

Great set of shots in a great classic aircraft! :)
Thanks much! My go to for pretend millionaire :)

Welcome back David
RICK
Thanks Rick!

Good to see you again David, nice flight, destination and pics  My advice: stay there!:pilot:
I sure have missed being in the sim. Hopefully I’ll get in more time again! It seems the closer I get to retirement there is more to do!
I’d definitely like to stay south right now.

Good to get out of Detroit this time of year David. Nice shots of the flight and the old faithful Lear Jet. :)
Thanks Larry. Much appreciated.
FSX with FSUIPC Version 4.974 Error
in FSX General Discussion
Posted
I've been using the version for many years now with no issues. Now I'm getting this error when I try to load FSX or I select no, I will start a flight and about 10 minutes in the message will pop up again:
Flight Simulator has detected a problem with a third-party
software program (add-on):
Name: FSUIPC4 DLL: FS new universal IPC Interface
Version: 4.974
Company: Peter L. Dowson
File: Modules\FSUIPC4.dll
Do you want to run this software (not recommended)?
To avoid seeing this message in the future, uninstall this
program or disable its ability to start when running Flight
Simulator. For more information about third-party programs,
contact the publisher or see http:\www.fsinsider.com.
The closest discussion I found in the forum is at the following link and I've tried the suggestions and nothing is working:
Weather.dll Problem - FSUIPC4.DLL - FSUIPC Support Pete Dowson Modules - The simFlight Network Forums
Thanks in advance.
