  1. but also I think, if I could have a command to lower the visibility to 0 instantly, it would be great to fly into cloud - just turn visibility to 0 og back when you are out
  2. exactly, before while AS worked perfectly the smoothing visiblity worked perfectly but now with FSGRW it is another thing.
  3. haha, thank you but it is not that complicated. I think the visivility-thing is much more difficult. Hopefully someone knows how
  4. Hi, I try to figure out if it is posible to make a command (through fs9-controls-assignments OR FSUIPC-key presses) that would allow me to shift between different visibilities. For example I have made a set of commands that makes me able to shift between different levels of AI traffic density (0, 25, 50, 75 and 100 %) while flying. Talking about visibility I now have to go through FSUIPC - visibility to manually make a change, but it is very un-smooth. Does anyone know if it is posible to make such a command ? My idea is to make a set of command 0 SM, 10 SM, 30 SM 60 SM.
  5. Thanks for the answers. I found out that I had to delete options.cfg og make the fs9 create a new one. THEN it works, but unfortunately I cannot open and edit the .bin file from FSGRW in AS. So I still have found out how to change the altitude of metar stations.
  6. Thanks, but I am already at AutomaticDownloads= false I think it has to do with the version. In an earlier discussion about ASE someone wrote: "The last ASE build went 100% online and won't open. It's build 709, tells you on the main screen what build you have bottom left. Any previous build, ASE had an offline mode and will work and open up completely without ANY need for the internet. I think for many people this will simply mean, don't apply the last official patch to take it up to build 709."
  7. Hi, I have a problem a certain airports (f.e. KBOS and SPIM) where the airport area is under different weather stations. At low visibility the plane gets "under" the visibility layer so that it suddenly gets unlimited visibility even though it is foggy weather. Therefore I would like to edit the weatherstation altitude. I remember I have edited once through Active Sky Evolution but since I cannot open that one anymore (for me it only works online) I need another way to do that. I would like to edit the wxmapping.bin which I believe is the file that contains the positions of the weather stations. I tried to open the bin file with a HEX editor but it does not seem to work. Any help would be appreciated.
  8. Could anyone please tell me how to make ASE run offline. When I run the ASE it just starts initially but then it just stops without loading.
  9. With ASE I could use the graduated visibility which made a realistic top ceiling. Using FSGRW that does not seem to work anymore. I tried to enable and turn off visility control in FSGRW fs2004 setting, but it does not help. How can you control the visibility top in FSGRW. It seems very unrealistic when you take off in grey sky and very soon you reach blue skies with high visibility below. And: does anyone knows if you can edit the weather for each weather station ?
  10. I have exactly th same problem and I never found a solution. I think it might have to do with windows 10.
