Maybe I can sum this up with a brief closing question. 'Does a good instructor know right away who just does not have what it takes.... if the money part of it is not factored in...??

Another point, knowing what it is like to drive with some one that trusts me versus someone that does not. I would much rather have a trusting passenger. Or is it my imagination I get this vibe. Although I did actually ask the person.
One more question/point of course an instructor prefers a cool calm and collected student yes/no?
If anyone even got the comparison of driver/ passenger --- instructor/student

yes dual controls make a plane much different but still i do not think this is a total apples and oranges comparison..
