  1. I can't think of any. I did download the latest version 2019, as my P3Dv4 was using the version released in 2016. I would double check paths depending on how you "activate: it. I use the Scenery library method so I can easily turn on or off but you could do that as well with the add-on xml method. Looks great in P3Dv5 so you have something to look forward to.
  2. So long as it works for that's good. P3D does not allow priority adjusting for sceneries that are installed via the "add-on xml" method where as yo can using the traditional Scenery Addon method. Why they did not add that option? You could edit those or reinstall to make the adjustments but that is beyond this conversation.

So tell me, how is performance/FPS using the combination?

  3. It would be hard for me to purchase such a intricate bird without using a Yoke, throttle quad, etc. I would think about acquiring those first which you can then enjoy among many different aircraft let alone the NGXu. Just a thought...

  4. By that I was talking about the feature where orbx allows you place certain 3rd-party (or I guess their airports/sceneries as well), to correct certain conflicts. I believe they explain it in their Orbx Central app or perhaps documentation. Of course they have a forum with plenty of experts over there that may be able to address your issue.

  5. Adding mesh will not correct the issue you described. In fact, it may worsen the effect as you add higher resolution mesh. The tool that orbx provides was for the exact issue you describe so I surprised it is not working for you. Could it be the sceneries are not in the correct priority.

Not trying to steer you away from mesh as it adds a lot to ground definition and recommend it on its own values. I just don't think it will solve your issue.

  6. Pilots -

I recently d/l a good ol' posky 737-800 (that also works in P3Dv4), and there is an issue where Engine 2 reversers continue to deploy and retract. For those who have the Logitech/Saitech throttle quadrant, if I manually deploy them they activate as expected (I have set my throttle "buttons" to deploy them via FSUIPC) Then when I begin to reverse direction of the throttle (increasing power), the reversers close as expected but as I continue to increase the reversers keep "popping" open. I add more throttle and they start to close then pop open again?!? More thrust start closing - pause the throttle position start to open again - repeats all the way up until full thrust.

So I did reverse my throttle settings changing #1 as #2 and #2 to #1 yet it still happens to engine #2. Engine #1 always works correctly. Do not have this issue with other aircraft so I am tending to believe it is not a hardware issue.

Just asking if anyone has come across this issue in the past? Maybe something I can check in the aircraft.cfg file?

    Thx,

  7. I was gonna say on a setup such as you are building I would suggest looking into a 2nd computer just to handle the gauges/glass displays. I do that with my 3-across displays and then a 2nd PC with a 16x9 16" display for gauges, moving map, Super Traffic Board (or just watch TV during a flight, ha!). Keeps the load on the first PC dedicated to the scenery. Just a thought.
