  1. Wow, are you having a bad day. Even dumb old me knew that it was probably a place holder. If you took the extra few seconds to read the description you would have known. Thank you for your comic relief over something so trivial.
  2. I may be wrong here but when I purchased mine it said for Xbox/pc. There was a notation somewhere the you needed to download a small program for pc compatibility. I may be wrong, but check it out.
  3. A must have! Lots of great repaints available and a near pay ware quality, a no brainer.
  4. Wow, lots of replies and info here. I have moved on to XP11 and enjoy it very much. Tried MSFS and enjoyed the eye candy then deleted it. Maybe in the future? I like the realistic X-PLANE aircraft and a big range of quality freeware. As far as FSX, there still is a large community of users because the sim is still great and there is much available for it. I enjoy Fightsim.com but there is a large and very active FSX user base at sim-outhouse.com. Try it, both sites are on my daily website visits.
  5. Be aware. No where does this file tell you its an upgrade to a payware aircraft. This is not a complete aircraft. This is misleading and the file should be taken down unless the description states that it is an upgrade to a payware F-15. This file is really advertising.
  6. Nice airport well done. Still trying to find monument valley from here. Thank you for you contribution to our community.
  7. Really nicely done and a great addition to Australia scenery. Very busy airport on the Gold Coast with lots of detail to explore. Well worth the download.
  8. Looks great but 13 different libraries to find and keep current? Unfortunately not for me.
  9. Really nicely done. Go and get it. Payware quality.
  10. downloaded, spent hours on the problems, deleted it and went back to XP-11. Glad I only paid $1 for it,
  11. This is a wonderful add on for x-plane. A remarkable job all around. Externals are superb, cockpit needs some texture work but easy to fly. This is a real keeper in my hanger! Thanks to all contributors to this project.
  12. I am one who tried it, pulled my hair out and dumped it. Good thing I only paid $1 to try it out. The good thing that could have happened, and probably will not, is wide exposure to flight sims to those who haven’t tried it. Bugs and the absence of any sort of manual will lead to complete frustration with the product. There is an opportunity to lead more users to the community via x-box and I really hope the game (its not really a sim yet) will result in a big shot in the arm for developers. Meanwhile, back to XP-11 which, in my opinion, is the best sim out there.
  13. really nice scenery to explore the Bar Harbor area. A very well done airport and I recommend it. Thank you to the author for all the work bring this to the community as freeware.
  14. Use steam with FSX (dead and gone) and XP-11. I like steam as there is no passwords to remember and all updates are done automatically. I have extensively modified the program with many aircraft, scenery, and utilities with no problem at all. I just bought a new SSD and found the programs can be moved to a new drive with only three or four clicks. It moves the entire program over and automatically removes the program from the old drive. There is quite a difference in speed with the SSD. The only downside is you are paying less to x-plane than if you bought it from them.
  15. Well, to each his/her own. There are many posts on the various boards about all the problems with msfs2020 and how it was money wasted and it shouldn’t have been released, etc, etc. then there are those who simply love it and can’t understand why others are having those problems. I down loaded it for $1 and since my internet is not the strongest, it took two days. Fired it up and it looked great. Tried to fly and had all sorts of problems. Why did they not standardize the controls to the same as FSX/P3D? Then after a couple of days could not get the great graphics due to internet speed and was back to P3D. Graphics again. These problems are mostly my fault due to bandwidth issues so back to XP-11. Glad to be back with a good friend and scenery, while not to MSFS standards, is still pretty nice. Glad I only spent $1 on it.

    Milton Shupe

Milton is one of the greatest rock stars of flight simulation. Every aircraft he has a hand in is outstanding.
  17. Two days to download and now another two days to download the update? I have the fastest internet speed my provider gives me but still slow. Game is beautiful but not happy with other parts, such as controls. Glad I only spent $1 to try it out. Back to XP-11 which I am more than happy with. Maybe next year after the bugs are ironed out and huge updates are not the norm.
  18. Back to XP-11. Waited for patches before I got it. Download took me 2 days. Fired it up and saw the beautiful eye candy then went further into it and found the sour parts. Been using flight sims since my Atari days and this one has got me baffled. It’s probably because I’m so used to P3D setup I have a hard time with this. Downloaded 3 new airports and put the in the community folder. They don’t show and now the sim crashes to desktop. I just learned that the latest patch with the Japan update is anther 20 gigs to download. I’ve reached my limit. I am back in xp where you really have to fly the aircraft, graphic detail is not as great as MSFS but approaches it, a great community, great pay and freeware designers and a wonderful immersion factor. Maybe will try again a year or so from now.
  19. Make sure you get 8mb or more on the graphics card. You really need that video ram. Low end here is a 2070
  20. With 16 libraries to be downloaded and kept up to date...no thanks!
  21. There are some really fantastic sceneries being generated as freeware. I just started in these forums and will comment in the future as I go on. It is important to me that we do positive comments even though you may have some negative Thoughts. Be gentle and not harsh. My biggest obstacle to downloading some sceneries are the tremendous amounts of libraries needed. I will not even try anymore If more than one or two libraries are needed as there is no easy way to ensure my libraries are up to date. Just my 2 cents worth.
  22. For sure it was a Citation. I was a big Yankees fan then and remember it very well.
  23. You can download X-plane demo for free and try it before you buy it. I did and I did and have been fully immersed in x-plane since then. Also retired and on a limited budget.
  24. Great little puddle jumper for tooling around looking at the scenery. Well done, thanks for you contribution to the community.
