gasman
I'm really struggling to set up the VRInsight GPS-5 GPS system on my computer. I have 5 screens (3 for the outside view) I tried to expand them across 3 screens with NVidia surround but gave up on that because every time I spanned the 3 screens, the other 2 would turn off. The 4th screen is for the instrument panel. Anyway, If I try to place the GPS screen onto the 5th screen (The VRInsight 7" screen) using the software provided, the screen goes black as the GPS screen moves onto it then FSX closes with a fatal error. I've tried everything so hopefully one of you good people on here can help. My system is as follows :- Intel I7 5820K / Corsair Hydro H105 / Asus X99-S / 32GB 2400Mhz RAM / 2 x Asus Strix GTX 980 4GB GPU/ Corsair AX1200i PSU / Samsung 850 EVO 500GB SSD / Samsung 850 EVO 1TB SSD / Seagate 2TB HDD / Samsung 24X DVDRW / Corsair Air 540 BLACK / Corsair AF120 LED Case Fan x 4 / Windows 7 Pro 64Bit Operating System Thank you. il88pp
Are you /were you able to drag other popup panels to the fifth monitor? Were you using surround view then too? [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
gasman
Hi!... Thanks for the reply. Nope...Everything I drag onto the 5th monitor turns black and Crashes FSX. I am not using surround view because if I do, screens 4 & 5 go black.

il88pp
I googled and found some things. Not sure of this. Did not look into it more then 5 mins. - must be vga port. - must be the correct resolution exactly. - fsx must be in windowed mode. - windows must be undocked, then dragged over.
