donnybalonny
Hi I hope someone can help me. FSX-SE doesnt come with the full FSX SDK and you cant just install the SDK from the box version. It has to do with license. Solution should be to download and use P3Dv1.4 SDK and use it. BUT... I dont know where to install it. In its default place, which is in C:/Lockheed Martin or if it should be intstalled in the root of FSX-SE? Has anyone been around this issue? I have never made scenery before, so I´m green and wet behind the ears.:o
evm
Of course you can install the SDK from the FSX boxed version, provided you have it. No license says you can't. But about your question: it doesn't matter where you install it. The SDK is just a bunch of more or less disconnected command line tools. It does not even care if you have a simulator to match it. I would keep it in it's default "Lockheed Martin..." folder, so you always know this is the P3D one, and you don't confuse it with FSX SDK. donnybalonny
So, I installed the P3Dv1.4 SDK default and copied the resample.exe into FSET and renamed it resampleFSXSP2.exe Now it works
