MaVe_64
Give your airports more atmosphere! Here's a first impression of some sounds I made for FSX AI aircraft (probally for P3D too). Flattermann
HI, I am a "AI sound freak" and so I was glad reading your posting. I installed the sounds regarding your installation mode, but 3 times my FSX crashed down ("a fatal error has occured"). Without the folders I have no problem. Maybe my system is too weak. I put the AISounds-folder in the "Microsoft Flight Simulator X" folder; was this correct? My system: Intel Core i5-2300/2,80 GHz; 4GB DDR-RAM NVIDIA QuadroFX 600 1 GB GDDR3, DVI,DP Windows 7 64 bit FSX-Gold Acceleration happy landings! MaVe_64
That's strange, do the sounds work before it crashes? The sounds are very lightweight, should not be a problem, your problem must come from something else. The sounds are just standard FSX, nothing special added. You can put the sound folder where you like, as long as the alias path (in soundai.cfg) is correct. http://i.imgur.com/mSi0bsg.jpg MaVe Creations - Free AI sounds - Giving your airports more atmosphere! Flattermann
Yes, the sounds of A320 I tested work but 2 or 3 minutes later FSX crashed down with "a fatal error has occured". I tested the same airport without the new sounds and all remain OK?? I read in a other forum AI-sounds affect strongly the performance. Perhaps the WOAI aircraft (constructed for FS9) and the better sounds don't work so easy in FSX. Perhaps the problems are bigger if you use the software AIRound too? I really don't know. happy landings! Christian:pilot: Intel i5-6600K CPU @ 3.50GHZ, 4 Kerne, 16 GB MSI RX 480; M. SATA WD 500 GB; WD RED PRO 2TB Win 10, 64 bit; FSX Gold Acc.
