~Touring Norway in the Real Air Turbine Duke~ - Stormy flight South

Hi all!

 

Well after the successful repairs by our resident prop-guru Jan in our last flight, we continue to head south, but hit stormy weather over the Skarvan og Roltdalen.

 

Another eventful flight unfolds as we battle huge towering storms, micro-bursts and all manner of variable wind and turbulence.

 

With a bit of luck and airman-ship we make it to Værnes Air Station to fuel her up.

After a quick tea break - We notice the weather improving so we make more head way and travel to Dovrefjell-Sunndalsfjella National Park, with stunning views at Geiranger fjord then a final landing at Hovden airport for a cold beer ....
